The Lodge is exactly described in the listing, the location is rural and very peaceful, it was great to be able to see the various animals around the farm, the local town has all of the necessary amenities and a great Restaurant at the Castle Hotel in Bishops Castle. I would definitely recommend this lodge and I'll definitely be back at some point in the future

We have just arrived home after the most perfect 3 night stay here. From booking, arriving and leaving Mike's communication was brilliant. This place is just complete tranquility. If your looking at booking, book it! You really won't regret it. We are now looking at dates to return later in the year.!

Peaceful Remote Historic village - Stables.

We had a fantastic time at the stables. Karen and John were great hosts. They have a stunning, comfortable and cosy cottage which made a fabulous stay. Lovely and clean and comfortable. We were welcomed with home made Bara Brith and butter… lovely ☺️. Stunning location…. The most perfect break! Highly recommend 5 ⭐️. We would like to return!

Excellent place to stay, easy access and friendly responsive host whom communicated very proactively and promptly. I have no hesitation in recommending this place to stay. Perfect location to stay if attending the BMW & Triumph Off Road skills courses. Thank you for a great stay!

Such a great week, spent here and can’t put into words just how tranquil this place is. Amazing views, great hosts, perfect cabin, lots to do locally but equally just sitting in the well kept gardens were a joy. We were blessed with 4-days of sunshine and blue-skies but even so we would return in a heartbeat

Absolutely Beautiful!!! The most stunning location!! Everything about the lodge was superb 👌 Perfectly cleaned, immaculately kept good sized lodge with everything we needed for our stay! Amazing closed in garden to be able to let my dogs relax and be safe! Garden Toys for my granddaughter. This host has thought of everything Amazing walks straight from your doorstep!! I loved it!! Thank you

Old School Manor - The Lodge

Perfect stay for me and my son while he was on a school trip at ‘call of the wild’ he couldn’t stay over so we booked Richard’s place to stay and I took him back and forth. And I worked from the property. It was very convenient for this purpose. Close to call of the wild, excellent internet. Would be a great place to stay and explore all the great walks and adventures to be had in the area.

Our stay was perfect would highly recommend beautiful surroundings what a way to kick of your shoes and relax couldn’t get no internet while we were there but that was down to us for not asking for help which was offered it was lovely with no phone or tv. Thank you once again for our lovely stay.

Lovely stay in this welcoming bunk house set in beautiful surroundings. Amazing to be able to sit out and eat by the duckpond , and to have a fire at night. Lots of great walks and a lush lake to dip in.

Had the most relaxing time at the chalet, just what we needed. Ideal spot, within walking distance from the town. Bed was comfortable, and clean, lovely lounge to relax with a glass of wine after chilling in the hot tub. Will recommend you, and definitely will be returning next year.
