The studio is one of the very few studios in the resort that is absolute poolside. Suitable for a couple (sorry no kids) It’s a loft, so the bedroom area has ladder like steps and a low roof. But it all adds to the charm. Enjoy sitting in the tree tops and watching the world go by in our little beachside town.

Hastings by the Sea is located in the sleepy coastal hamlet of Hastings Point. This newly renovated ground floor garden unit is situated on Cudgera Creek and within walking distance to the beautiful Hastings Foreshore and lookout. A short scenic drive south you will find yourself in Pottsville and beautiful Byron Bay. To the north you will be in bustling Cabarita. All have fabulous beaches, restaurants and shopping. This unit is perfect for families, couples and friends to enjoy and relax.

This rail trail is accessible from Burringbar, Mooball or Murwillumbah which are all less than 35 minutes from Rene's Cottage. There are pelicans, herons, osprey and marine animals. Can comfortably accommodate 2 adults. Whale watching June >> November. All cooking equipment, bed linen and towels supplied. Kayaks and crab pots; no extra, but no pets. Check in time 2pm. Check out time is 10am.

Only a 20 minute drive or bus from Gold Coast airport and Tweed City and just over half an hour drive to popular Byron Bay.
