Details The Monte Argentario peninsula, with its two sea resorts Porto Ercole and Porto Santo Stefano, lies on the southern coast of Tuscany, 150 km north of Rome. It rises like an island from the sea, being connected to the mainland by lagoons and two narrow strips of land. Villa Baschieri lies in a quiet and green area at the edge of picturesque fishing and sailing town Porto Santo Stefano. The Villa overlooks the bay and offers breathtaking views of the sea and coast. It was built by the Baschieri family in 1888 as a summer house. It is surrounded by a garden with tall trees. The water is only 200 yards away and the town centre is a 10 minute walk. The house was last renovated in 2009. The penthouse maisonette has its own separate entrance and is available for weekly lets between April and October Fittings The penthouse apartment consists of: two bedrooms with double bed, one bedroom with twin beds, two bathrooms (one with bath-tub, one with shower), a large kitchen, living room, dining room, large roof terrace and kitchen terrace (both suitable for “al fresco” dining) terrace garden The kitchen is equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, gas-fired stove with electric oven, cutlery and crockery for 6. The terrace has a barbeque, sun chairs, an additional dining table and chairs. The apartment can be rented by a maximum of 6 persons from April to October on a weekly basis. Please advise us about the age and number of children. Pets are not allowed. Bed-linen and towels can be provided, but no beach towels. We can arrange for household help.

The Vietri Apartment is in an independent wing of the villa, in one of the most panoramic points of the Argentario. Elegantly decorated with Vietri ceramics (hence the name) and surrounded by a large park with olive trees and Mediterranean plants, the apartment has two bedrooms, lounge, kitchen and panoramic terrace.
