Surely the highest cottage, at 1200m altitude, in the Cederberg with spectacular views of the Koue Bokkeveld and the Cederberg. It is set against a mountain peak surrounded by pristine Cape flora. A place of retreat and deep silence. The cottage, with its beautiful woodwork and stonework, belongs to another era. The camp was built with 100% recycled materials and is equipped with 12 volt solar lighting system, WIFI, USB port and on demand gas geyser. There are no plugins for electrical appliances. The quaint little cottage is in between the guava orchid of a working farm with beautiful views of the mountain. In season time you can pick and eat guavas.( Apr- Oct). Guests can relax in the #Kolkolhottub under the stars and read a book. There is lots of space to mountain bike or walk. Have a barbecue inside or outside. You can wonder around the farm or visit many interesting places in town, or hike up 22 Waterfalls or Groot Winterhoek Reserve

Vleidam in Koringberg is the peaceful getaway you've been searching for. With panoramic views of the richly fertile farmlands, Vleidam Guest Farm is tranquil, country-living for the whole family. On arrival guests get freshly home baked bread with home made jam. There is milk and filtered water in the fridge; home made rusks in a jar and coffee, sugar and tea. These are all included in the price.

Pret a Porter at Howzit Growing plant nursery. Cosy, private entrance one bedroom garden unit with use of shared pool and pool area. The pool is unfenced, so regrettably no young children. Part of main house but has its own entrance. Central location - walk to restaurants and shops. Free overnight parking available 6pm to 8am. Young friendly dog on property.
