This location was surprisingly more spacious than the photos posted and it came with A LOT of accommodations. These host really put a lot of thought and heart into making this place a perfect stay. Janet kindly and briefly welcomed us when we first arrived. There’s a wall separating the guest homes outside dining, jacuzzi, bbq, fire pit and bird watching area from the main home, so it’s plenty private! We definitely recommend this stay and would visit again.

We had an amazing stay here! The cabin is nestled high up in the woods, very quiet and peaceful. The hot tub and back deck are great, and the inside is comfy & cozy with wood pellet stove, a well stocked kitchen, nice L shaped couch and tv, and lots of little amenities that make it stand out. Note that this property is located in Pierpoint, CA. If you like hiking or walks in nature, this cabin is only 30 minutes drive to the great views at Dome Rock and 45 minutes drive to Trail of 100 Giants. If you want to drive further south than that into Sequoia National Forest, I'd recommend an AWD/4WD vehicle for the windy pot hole roads, or stay closer to Kernville/Wofford/Lake Isabella. We enjoyed seeing the deer almost everyday at this cabin. Alex and Jake were responsive and fantastic hosts! Highly recommend.

Very nice, lots of space in personal character. You feel like you are at a home, not a place calibrated for renting, which we like. Great jacuzzi. And super quiet, calm and relaxing and yet very close to the Saloon and Sportsman (my Fav).

We had a great stay in Wofford Heights! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The location was perfect for exploring Lake Isabella and the surrounding nature. Robyn was responsive, helpful, and made everything easy. Highly recommended!

We had the best time staying at Birdies cabin. Myself, my husband and our two children were blown away when we arrived. Everything at the cabin exceeded our expectations. I have to say a huge thank you to Birdie for your quick responses and advice. I would highly recommend birdies cabin. The views are incredible, the kids loved the giant connect 4 and the smores station you set up! We are on a once in a lifetime American road trip with the family, but I would absolutely love to return again in the future. Thank you so much xx

The cabin is absolutely charming and exceptionally well-equipped. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you might need, and there’s a fantastic grill and a relaxing jacuzzi. Everything is beautifully maintained and presented to a very high standard. The cabin also offers outstanding privacy, allowing for a truly peaceful stay. Fred was incredibly welcoming — he gave us a personal tour of the cabin and provided valuable recommendations for places to visit in town. Nearby, you’ll find hidden waterfalls perfect for hiking adventures. The river is just a short 3-minute walk away, offering a perfect spot to sit back, unwind, and take in the stunning views.

The perfect blend of a natural setting with tastefully designed space. This place hits the sweet spot where rustic and upscale meet, and does so in a gorgeous riverfront location. The hosts go the distance, from answering question, providing information and suggestions to anticipating guests' needs. Couldn't be happier with our stay.

Katy‘s place is beautiful, I loved the decor. It was very charming but cozy at the same time. Stunning mountain view’s and peaceful surroundings. You can even see the river from the wraparound deck. My dog loved the yard and I especially loved the hammock! We’ll be back for sure.

Lisa’s cabin was absolutely perfect for a quick, peaceful family getaway. It is even cozier and nicer than the photos suggest! We arrived in the evening and Lisa was great about giving us clear check in instructions. We made smores by the fire and woke up to a magnificent view on a crisp mountain morning. I was thankful Lisa mentioned the waffle maker — I brought ingredients for waffles and it was my first time making them. My kids loved them! We took family walks around Camp Nelson and saw Soda Springs, then went all the way to Nelson trailhead which is also walking distance from the cabin. One thing I would tell future guests is to bring groceries, bc the two general stores nearby weren’t well stocked when we visited in April (maybe they are during high tourist season?). That said, we appreciated the cabin had a lot of essentials including coffee beans and a grinder. We would absolutely return. Thanks for being a lovely host, Lisa!

The perfect spot for a trip to the Kern River. I've spent the last few fly fishing trips changing things up and staying in different spots and this by far has been the best, not a knock on the others, it just was exceptional for our trip. From the moment we showed things were seamless and with our intention to prioritze time on the water this aided in everything. Aided by the ease of access with parking and the slick little digital lock we were in and set up quickly. The place was spotless and nicer than the photos show. We found the kitchen was appointed with everything we needed for a quick trip with the semi prepared food we had. I did quick buzz through everything and saw the extras on hand would facilitate future longer trips with plans to eat in and cook. The peaceful and relaxing vibe of the place made us at feel home and aided in catching up on rest during a couple of long days romping around on the river. Being new to AirB&B I couldn't have asked for more for this trip.

This was our second stay at Carrie and Pat’s place. The house is so comfortable and the setting is so peaceful. We loved exploring the property, visiting with the horses, and hanging out on the porch and deck. We hope to visit again.

We had an amazing stay thanks to Stacey, she was very responsive. Her lovely cabin was just as she described and more. We couldn’t have had a better experience. She is a wonderful host. Would love to book again!

We had a nice 2-night stay. Beds were comfortable. Showers worked well. Kitchen well stocked. We bought all groceries we would need in Bakersfield. There is a small grocery/restaurant very close, but we didn't go in. It's a nice 45 minute drive to the closest site in Sequoia: Trail of 100 Giants. The only issue (and it is general to the area and not specific to this cabin) is that there is no cell service in the area. Coming from the west, we lost it about Ducor, and didn't regain it until we returned to that point. Just be aware in case you need to communicate with anyone by means other than through WiFi at the cabin (which worked fine). The specific issue I had was that text-based or cell-call two-factor authentication is not possible.

Great peaceful stay close to Sequoia national Park and the river! Extremely comfortable bed, nice kitchen, comfortable couch, great shower. Also had a water filter! Really enjoyed our stay :)

The cabin was great, parking was a little tricky as it was snowing when we arrived but luckily we brought a shovel with us and after we shoveled a bit of the driveway we were able to get up fine. The cabin was lovely and very cozy for our small family gathering. The kids loved the games and we built a snowman and snow pig. We even took a walk around the neighborhood and found the cutest little stream. All in all the place was great for a weekend get away :)

This cabin is beautiful. It has AMAZING views and was exactly as pictured. Honestly the cabin felt bigger than pictured. It was very open and spacious. Everything was clean and ready for our arrival. If you are unfamiliar with the drive up the mountain I recommend driving during the day vs at night. We had a great stay and hope to come back soon.

Wow, Angie’s cabin is AMAZING! If you’re looking for a calm, peaceful and quiet retreat surrounded by gorgeous redwood and pine trees, this is the place for you! At night, it was so quiet that you could’ve heard a single branch falling. That kind of serenity is so find to hard and providing so much tranquility. When we arrived, the property and area were absolutely covered in snow. It really felt like paradise 🥰 My pupper was also soooo happy here and loved all of the smells of the outdoor area. The cabin itself is so cozy and comfy, and we loved the quirkiness of the tile in the kitchen. I would 10000000% book another stay here and definitely plan to in the future!

Loved our stay at Greg’s place! Had all we needed for a family of four, areas of the home are well thought out! Just enough snow near the home for the kiddos to stay busy for hours, plus a porch area and grill! Perfection!

Great cabin in a beautiful, remote location. New appliances, nice furnitures and finishing with a very cozy and easy to operate fire place. We really liked it here , be prepared to be away from grocery stores, so bring everything. Totally recommend!

Our stay at the rental house in Wofford Heights was absolutely wonderful! The house was spotless, cozy, and well-maintained, making us feel right at home. Its location was perfect—just a 10-minute drive to Alta Sierra Ski Resort, making it incredibly convenient for hitting the slopes. The surrounding forest was serene and beautiful, offering a peaceful retreat. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommend this place!

It’s very beautiful location and nice neighborhood! We had a lot fun with our 2 dogs. Definitely will come back again!
