This idyllic cabin is conveniently located near Sequoia National Forest and Park, Lake Success, and River Island Golf Course. Relax with the whole family in a cabin our guests describe as 'better than you can imagine.' We are located in the remote and peaceful town of Ponderosa. This High Sierra mountain cabin offers comfort, silence, and a place to detach and unwind from the city in front of our cozy fireplace. We are the perfect home base for visiting Trail of 100 Giants, Freeman Creek Tail/George Bush Tree, Seven Teacups, Dome Rock, Slate Mountain, Nobe Yong Falls, and all the Sequoia National Forest has to offer.

In the evenings, enjoy stargazing or conversation at the fire pit. Our property is secluded, yet only 10 minutes from the main highway. We are in between Sequoia Forest (east) and Sequoia Park (north), with about an hour drive to each. We love to host remote workers/traveling health care providers.

Relax and commune at our quiet storybook cabin. We are in the Sequoia National Forest- not the Park, fyi. 2 bedrooms and a full bath upstairs, 1 bedroom and a full bath downstairs. A little gas log stove compliments the Nest central heating, keeping it toasty even as the snow piles high. We are on a 1/2 acre with a lovely meadow just steps from the back porch. A wood burning hot tub next to the fire ring provides a relaxing soak. We are Ponderosa- the sweetest secret in California. Cert #490
