Now with super-fast Fibre Max internet, The Beach House is situated on the Essex Sunshine Coast, right on the bank of a tidal creek with stunning views of the sea in front and the river behind. Being in the Nature Reserve, we cannot accept dogs or pets of any kind; sorry. We do not let to groups; we only let to families or two couples maximum. Absolutely no groups of more than four guests or parties of any kind. High tide sometimes cuts off the house so please be aware of this.

Tuck away next to the Wivenhoe woods (upper Wivenhoe), this lovely self-contained studio flat provides comfortable accommodation throughout. The studio is on a cul-de-sac, with its own entrance. It is just a short walk to the University of Essex via Wivenhoe Public pathway. The the train station is also only 15 minute walk away through the Wivenhoe trail. Ideal for 1-2 guests, but a baby or small chid is welcome (providing that you bring your own travel cot & bedding with you).

Wayside cottage is an end of terrace property which is 150 years old, located in the historic village of St Osyth. It is situated in between the village centre, where you will find all the necessary amenities, and Mill Dam Lake, where you will find water sport activities, scenic walks and bike rides. The cottage has been completely renovated to retain all the original quirky features of wonky ceilings, old exposed beams and original gate doors. The rooms are cosy and inviting.

My place is close to Colne Point Nature reserve one mile walk with lots of bird life, great views over the river Colne and Blackwater the best sunsets, You’ll love my place because of the outdoor space, walks wild life wide open country side marshes seascapes ideal for bird watching.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers & very cosy.
