In the countryside of San Gimignano, in an ancient fortification dating back to 1000, located on a hill with a panoramic view, rent beautiful apartment circa 60sqm overlooking San Gimignano and the Vernaccia vineyards that surround it. The apartment is located on the ground floor, surrounded by communal gardens and consists of: living / dining room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom with shower. The apartment was renovated recently, the floors are tiled, the roofs made of chestnut beams. Air conditioning, heating and flat screen TV are available. It is decorated with furniture style '700. In the communal garden which is partly a terrace with cypress and olive trees and partly meadow it is located a swimming pool (seasonal) with stunning views over the countryside and San Gimignano's towers. Inside there is ample shared parking. For the location a car is mandatory, no public transport available.

Peaceful hideaway in a 11th century Tuscan village

Imagine a former medieval tower, once part of a 11th century fortified castle. As you enter, like in most Tuscan country houses, there is a kitchen with a stone sink. A stairway brings to the first floor where there are two bedrooms with their original terracotta floors and wooden beams. They both offer a gorgeus, unobstructed view of Chianti vineyards and hills. And a private access to a terracotta terrace facing the valley. It's hard to imagine a more peaceful scenery.
