Plockton - Unique Thatched Cottage

This truly unique thatched cottage enjoys a central yet peaceful location in the the beautiful village of Plockton. The cottage sleeps two in studio style accommodation, with shower room and a well equipped kitchen. It is close to the loch, perfect for kayaking, and just a short stroll to pubs, restaurants, shops or even seal trips, the location is perfect. It is truly unique and centuries old, but has modern comforts throughout and even its own off street parking, a rare find in Plockton!

A unique chance to stay at what can only be described as one of the more beautiful locations in the Scottish Highlands. A stone's throw from the crystal clear waters of Loch Carron. Our quaint 160 year old fisherman's cottage, coupled with its incredible seaside location makes for a perfect relaxing and romantic getaway. We will do our best to meet you, but if not it is self check in. Enjoy the peace and quiet. Heartened in the cooler months with central heating and wood burning stove.

The Quaint Wee - House with sea and mountain views

Truly relax and unwind at this peaceful shoreside accommodation with an ever changing stunning view. Ideally located for gentle strolls from the house to the local beach and to explore this Scottish Site of Scientific Interest. Perfect for twitcher and wildlife enthusiasts, you may even catch a glimpse of an otter and seals! This is also an ideal launch site for your own kayak/canoe/SUP to just paddle around. From here you can also explore the rest of the island and mainland at your leisure.

Clickety-Clack Cottage

Clickety-Clack is nestled at the head of Loch Eil, 10 miles from Fort William, 6 miles from Glenfinnan. Sleeps 4 persons max. Sits along side the A830. 1 well behaved dog is permitted at the cottage with prior arrangement. We have beautiful views of the Loch and Ben Nevis. Perfect for couples and families and sits alongside the West Highland Railway line, the cottage is in the enviable position to watch the trains pass the front door. Car is essential in order to see the surrounding areas.

Foulis Castle Gate Lodge

Foulis Gate Lodge is a Highland cottage on the Gates of an historic, private, Highland estate with its own drive. The secluded location offers direct access to extensive gardens. The nearest amenities are 2miles in Evanton or 5miles to the ancient Burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm). My place is good for NC500 travellers, couples, and business travellers.

Lovely modern cottage close to Plockton and Skye

The Byre is a lovely renovated barn. It's a 10 minute walk to the beach and train station, and a 5 minute drive to Plockton or Isle of Skye. Discover the great outdoors right here on your doorstep or enjoy some great restaurants and pubs in Plockton. The cottage offers 1 double bedroom and 2 single beds up on the mezzanine. The Byre is modern, cosy and well equipped. Including Wifi, Netflix, underfloor heating, lovely Nespresso coffee, a bbq/firepit and outdoor space. Pets are allowed.

This area is one of the most beautiful places in the world! Fantastic walks, wildlife, castles & brochs, seafood, bakery and a chocolatier! Otters & Herons can be spotted on the shore, and clear starry nights are memorable…

Gate Lodge on Conservation Farm Isle of Skye

Opened in January 2020, the Gate Lodge is a charming octagon with plenty of original character. Warm and well-equipped, it has been completely renovated and sits within the grounds of a working conservation farm. Strictly No Smoking. Only a ten minute walk from Loch Bay Restaurant, the Stein Inn, Skyeskyns and Diver's Eye, the lodge is surrounded by nature and wildlife with stunning views. It offers the perfect, peaceful break. Duich Cottage is situated in the picturesque and tranquil village of Ault a`Chruinn on the shores of Loch Duich. The cottage is ideally located with easy access to Kyle of Lochalsh and the Isle of Skye as well as the charming villages of Kintail, Glenelg, Dornie and Plockton. The village of Dornie is home to the world famous Eilean Donan castle which is only a 10min drive from the cottage.
