What an amazing place! Ioannis has thought about everything you could ever need and it is there!! Every thing was immaculate, beautiful white linen, beach towels, the best kitchen ever. Ioannis very thoughtfully had provided large bottles of water and fresh fruit in the fridge which I thought was wonderful. We had a problem on arrival which was sorted so quickly, thank you Ioannis! We have been to many Airb&bs and this was the best. So near the sea and fantastic restaurants, i miss the wonderful food! Thank you so much for our wonderful stay

I spent 5 nights here with my mother and 10 year old daughter, and I have not one negative comment…the house is better than pictures! The beautiful gardens give it a feel like being in a movie, and there is beautiful beach literally a few steps outside the house. There is lots of great restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. We rented a car, but if you plan to just relax and stay close by, you don’t need one. There is also a bus that you jump on to take you to Old Chania. This place is perfect for families with young and older children. And it’s so comfortable you will not want to leave. Natalia, is so kind and sweet, and is near by should you need anything.

This is such a cozy and comfy place. Beautifully decorated and sparkling clean - you almost don't want to disturb the perfection! The beds, the massive couch in the living room are all very comfortable so we woke up every morning well rested. We found everything we needed in the kitchen and in the bathroom (the latter was stocked with soaps, shampoos and creams). There is a small outdoor space , which we made use of for afternoon drinks and breakfast. Thr place is not right next to the old city, but the parking prices are very reasonable so we just drove in and parked at a big municipal parking. The place is also great as your base for day trips around the island. Our hosts were amazing, upon arrival we found fruit, wine, bread and Michalis popped in with a plate of freshly picked strawberries. Evelina gave us lots of tips on what to do and see - all great ideas. We had a great time and highly recommend the Violin House.

Stella was always helpful, promptly giving excellent advice when asked. The apartment is right in the heart of the old Venetian port area - there is a buzz around the place, with plenty of opportunity to watch street life. As for the apartment itself: impeccably clean: a great use of the limited space: quirky loft bed with its sturdy, smooth, wooden steps: the turning marble stairway, leading down to the hallway: its two balconies, giving a view of two streets: equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable week’s stay: tastefully, simply and thoughtfully furnished and decorated.

La maison de Manolis est superbe, tout correspond parfaitement aux photos. C’est un endroit paisible et dans lequel on veut rester longtemps. Manolis est également un hôte très réactif et très bien organisé. Je recommande très fortement !!

Tämä kohde on todellinen aarre: terassi ja piha, avarat näkymät merelle ja erityisesti Nikoksen kädenjälki rinteen puutarhassa aina rantaan asti. Jos nautit omasta rauhasta ja luonnosta, tämä paikka on sinun. Kaikessa henkii kreeetalainen, paikallinen kulttuuri. Nikos ja hänen tyttärensä Eleni olivat hyvin avuliaita, jos heräsi jokin kysymys tai tarve. Läheistä kalaravintolaa pitää kalastajan perhe, nautimme kovasti hyvästä, tuoreesta kalaruoasta.

Grazie Batilas family! Siamo stati benissimo a casa vostra, tutto era perfetto per le nostre esigenze, avendo 4 bambini. La casa è fornita di tutto quello che serve, pulita, con un bellissimo spazio esterno. Vicinissima alle spiagge della zona, comoda per raggiungere a piedi il villaggio accanto. Se torneremo a Creta sicuramente sapremo già dove prendere la casa! Grazie ancora!! Marta, Gabriele, Pietro, Niccolò, Sofia e Alessandro

Από την αρχή της διαμονής μας, οι ιδιοκτήτες μας υποδέχθηκαν με θερμή φιλοξενία και φιλικότητα. Εκτός από το γεγονός ότι ήταν πάντα πρόθυμοι να μας βοηθήσουν με ό,τι χρειαστήκαμε, μας έκαναν να νιώσουμε σαν στο σπίτι μας. Είναι, επίσης, ιδιοκτήτες ενός τοπικού καταστήματος με παραδοσιακά καλούδια, και μας πρόσφεραν τα πιο νόστιμα καλτσούνια που έχουμε δοκιμάσει ποτέ – μια πραγματική γευστική εμπειρία! Το διαμέρισμα ήταν πεντακάθαρο και πολύ άνετο, ενώ η τοποθεσία του ήταν ιδανική: βρισκόταν σε μια ήσυχη γειτονιά, αλλά μόλις 8 λεπτά με το αυτοκίνητο από το όμορφο παλιό λιμάνι. Επιπλέον, ήταν εξαιρετικά pet-friendly, κάτι που εκτιμήσαμε ιδιαίτερα, καθώς οι ιδιοκτήτες φροντίζουν με αγάπη μερικές γάτες στην αυλή τους. Γενικά, ήταν μια υπέροχη διαμονή με εξαιρετικούς ανθρώπους, και σίγουρα θα το προτείνουμε σε οποιονδήποτε θέλει να απολαύσει την πραγματική κρητική φιλοξενία!

Alkis is a super friendly host, and always responds so quickly. Once I didn’t know how to use the washing machine, he came in person just in five minutes! Also he gave me so many recommendations for local cuisine and tourist attractions. The apartment is well maintained and is in a rather perfect location, 10-15 minutes’ walk to the heart of the Old Town, and 1 minute’s walk just to the beachside. The parking place is easier to find compared to the old town, so it’s more friendly to self-drivers. Overall, highly recommended.

Lugar excelente: espaçoso, muito limpo, confortável, bem equipado e aconchegante. O estacionamento no próprio prédio é uma qualidade que faz muita diferença, pois estacionar pode ser um problema na cidade. Recomendamos!

Excellent appartement avec terrasse à deux pas de la mer. Le logement est d'une propreté inégalée et il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour les bébés. L'emplacement est très calme tout en étant idéalement placé à moins de 5minutes des commerces, restaurants et plages. Lilian est très réactive et à été d'une grande aide lorsque nous avions besoin d'elle. Nous recommandons fortement !

l'appartamento era veramente carino , l'unica pecca era troppo vicino alla strada e si sentivano parecchio i rumori delle auto inoltre sull'appartamento sotto di noi ma questo sicuramente non c'entra con i proprietari , c'erano tre ragazzi che hanno rotto le palle tutta la notte fino alle 2:00 di mattina proprio dei maleducati sapendo che ci sono degli altri inquilini ..... Ecco lì si vorrebbe un po' più di attenzione da parte dei proprietari magari con un cartello o altro che indichi gli orari del silenzio .....

Die Wohnung liegt direkt in der Altstadt und so konnten wir viel in Chania City sehen. Umgeben von kleinen süßen Gassen und schönen Restaurants kann man hier verweilen. Danke für die schöne Zeit in eurer Unterkunft ! ☺️ Wir kommen gerne wieder !

This place was perfect for two travellers given the exceptional location and beautiful water front. Owners were very helpful and responsive to our needs. The bus service was right across the apartment which was very convenient! Breakfast was included at the restaurant across the street which was also a great addition to the trip. The only downside was the few ants found in the bathroom, other than that, this place was great and we would definitely stay here again.

We were very happy with our choice of this ground floor apartment. It had everything we needed (as listed). Maria, Nancy’s mum lives in the same building and was always at hand to help and advise. She made our stay special. Fruit, bottled water and juice was left as a welcome gift and she brought a delicious meal around for us one evening. The apartment is a 5 minute walk from a picturesque beach and harbour with many restaurants. We liked this area better than any other we visited although Chania Old Port and town is delightful and a 15 minute walk along the seafront. The bus station is a 10 minute walk away. There is a mini market, bakery, butcher, fishmonger and vegetable shop just around the corner which is very convenient. Thanks Maria for your kindness and generosity.

The location was great and the room was clean. Eleni is great host as well .She was very friendly and I strongly recommend this room.

Dimitris place was such a great find! It was easily walkable to Old Town and the beach. Not too far from the airport by taxi and lots to do everyday! Super great communication and friendliness also! I highly recommend!

Es war super schön hier. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und die Kommunikation verlief reibungslos. Die Unterkunft ist wie auf den Bildern. Man ist ein bisschen am Berg oben, was super schön ist, da es dort viel ruhiger ist. In die Stadt und zum Strand kommt man super zu Fuß. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Ich hatte einen wunderbaren 12-tägigen Aufenthalt in der Wohnung. Die Lage ist toll - nur ein paar Meter vom Strand entfernt und trotzdem 15 Minuten bis zur Altstadt. Einchecken mit schlüsselbox und Beschreibung war super einfach. Der Gastgeber hat immer extrem schnell geantwortet. Und ich meine wirklich schnell- ich habe nie länger als ein paar Minuten auf eine Reaktion gewartet. Er hat mir mit allen Fragen und Anliegen geholfen und mir sogar einem Regenschirm ausgeliehen und eine Yogamatte für meine Zeit besorgt. Wirklich sehr hilfsbereit und immer zur stelle! Die Wohnung ist gemütlich. Das Bett ist sehr bequem (das finde ich immer wichtig!). Das Sofa ist schon etwas durchgesessen - aber es hat mich nicht gestört. Die Küche ist ganz gut ausgestattet. Es gibt einen richtigen Herd, Toaster, Wasserkocher und Mikrowelle (die ich aber nicht benutz habe). Der Balkon ist groß und man hat morgens bis zum frühen Nachmittag sonne. Auf dem 2. Balkon gibts auch noch eine Waschmaschine!

Die Wohnung ist sehr gut gelegen. In 5 Minuten ist man zu Fuß in der Innenstadt, in ca. 10 Minuten an einem sehr schönen Badestrand. Von einem der Balkone kann man auf das Meer und die Mauer der Altstadt schauen, von einem anderen Balkon auf die weißen Berge, die im April tatsächlich noch schneebedeckt waren. Supermärkte, Obstläden und Bäckereien sind sehr gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Es gibt einen privaten Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür, falls man mit einem Mietwagen unterwegs ist. Die Kommunikation mit Chrysa war super. Sie ist sehr freundlich und war stets für uns zu erreichen. Wir konnten uns mit allem an sie wenden. Der Urlaub in Chania war wunderbar.

My family and I spent 6 days in Chania, our stay was very pleasant and comfy. The apartment is spacious, clean, and has everything you need for a good holiday. The location is great, only a 5’ walk from the bus station and 15’ to the old harbour. There are plenty of coffee shops, bakeries (you must try their bougatsa), supermarkets, and shops nearby. The apartment is on the 4th floor with a lift from the 1st floor, although you still have to take the stairs to reach the lift. Keep this in mind when bringing luggage or if you're travelling with elderly people (wasn’t a problem for me, even though I’m 8 months pregnant, and for my in-laws). Parking can be tricky if you want to leave your car on the street, but there are some private parking a few blocks away, which I think is a more sensible option if you are renting a car and don't want any surprises. Overall, we enjoyed Sofia’s place and highly recommend it if you want to have a great time in Chania

The apartment is wonderful. Great location to old town and the beach. The hosts have thought of everything someone would need for a stay in Chania with family. There was plenty of space for the 8 of us. Would highly recommend if coming with a large family/multiple families or large group.

PARFAIT logement tres très bien situé avec une vue dégagée sur le port. Tout est accessible à pieds, nous reviendrons surement l'année prochaine. Merci pour tout
