A wonderful house. 4 couples stayed for 7 nights. The Water was the best I have ever been in any sea. Lots of sand and clean water very warm and shallow going out a long way in. Beautiful sunrise view everyday from the deck and garden . The only thing that bothered us was the Sand flies they were very nasty and everyone got bitten badly. Make sure you take anti itch lotions. Reimi looked after us with excellent service , and got out of her way to service us. . Malissa the owner was also excellent and responsive of our needs. The Gardener , Herman , was very helpful and got us good meals and fresh coconuts whenever we asked . Definitely recommend Mellisa’s home for your future vacation .

Absolutely stunning home with a serene location! The home was spotless and better than pictured with beautiful views of the beach and ocean from every room. Albert and Francee were so kind and helpful they made us feel like we were in our own private resort. The owner provided great details and suggestions in advance of us arriving and Albert made sure to check in regularly during the week and give us lots of recommendations to ensure we made the most of our vacation while also making sure it felt like home; so much so that we were sad to leave. We’d recommend this location to everyone and can’t wait to return again in the future.

I can’t say enough how amazing this stay was. This property is the most beautiful Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. Incredibly well stocked with any kitchen item you can think of, beautiful bathrooms, super comfy beds! The beach was amazing and the views were incredible. I would have stayed for a month if I could!

I cannot say enough how perfect this stay was. Great amenities, perfect distance from town for quiet and privacy, the beach is unbelievable, and the house is immaculate. Steven was so very helpful and responsive with the many questions I had and I'm very grateful for that, it really helped improve my stay and trip overall. The beds are very Firm and that is not for everyone, but also not uncommon for the area. We did not always have hot water but that zero bothered us since the weather is much hotter and more humid than we are used to...something to know, but it was not ever uncomfortably cold either. I cannot wait to return to Belize and would stay here again without hesitation, and want to bring my young child this time. Seriously cannot recommend staying at this house enough! We absolutely LOVED staying at this beautiful home. The house is amazing - exactly as pictured and described. The kitchen is so well stocked! But we were barely inside for the entire week. The location is ideal. We were on the beach and in the water! The paddle board and kayaks were so much fun. We brought our own masks and snorkels and had thoroughly enjoyed swimming/snorkeling right from the house. We could walk down the beach to several restaurants. We rode the bikes to other restaurants. We fell in love with Hopkins and cannot wait to come back and we would definitely stay at Kirsty's house for sure! (While we didn't get a chance to meet Kirsty, we really enjoyed meeting Jay! All of the Luxe staff was so helpful /responsive at all times.

The villa was just what my family needed. It was out of the tourist area and relaxing. The house is equipped with most everything we needed. The place was just as advertised. Great time and a bottom floor bedroom for privacy for my dad. Kitchen is remarkable and beautiful!!

From the day we booked our trip began with wonderful, informative and responsive messages with the hosts. All of our questions were answered quickly and with extra information as well. Upon arrival we were met at the airport with a warm welcome and we knew we had met the host of our dreams. Arrival at Vista Azul had us amazed at the beautiful and pristine accommodations and we were able to settle in for our stay instantly and we were proud to call it home for a week (not long enough). The work put into this Casita as well as their 2nd unit is phenom. From the buildings to the grounds, it is a tropical paradise that cannot be found at any hotel. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with even welcome surprises in the fridge and a beautiful welcome basket. World class! The beach less than 1 minute away at the end of the street, the world famous Sidewalk less than 1 minute away led us to easy and wonderful days for our stay. Everything was perfection. Kat & Dirk are simply outstanding

Location was perfect! Right in the center of town and on the beach. Woke up to beautiful sunsets. Enjoyed our coffee while sitting in the adirondack chairs with our toes in the sand. Could easily walk to the grocery store and restaurants in less than five minutes. The cottage was comfortable for the four of us. We were lucky enough to meet the owners, Kevin and Patty, who were wonderful people and offered lots of great restaurant suggestions. I hope we get a chance to come back!

We liked the mermaid cottage a lot. We stayed at one of the tiny houses as well. I didn't realize that there is not a beach here though and the sand that is all around in the photos is not sand you can play in, it's just a dusting on top of the ground. And much of it had biting ants. So this was a beautiful place but not ideal for little kids (our 2 year old was with us). We spent our days down at the Bohemian in town which had a beach and pool. We loved the little plunge pool at the cottage though, it was very cute and a great way to cool off. If you are looking into their different accomodations, this is definitely the best one. This place is about a 15 minute drive into the town of Placencia. If you walk two properties down to the left there is a nice resort with a restaurant. Communication is very confusing but if you just talk to Jose it will be all good.

We loved our stay at Maya Moon Cottage! Beautiful location and setting. Flowers Vacation Rentals provided thorough instructions, and were friendly and responsive. The home was clean, well-equipped, and felt private from the larger guest house on the property. Like many past guests, we frequented the pool at the hotel next door. The cottage is about a 20 minute drive from the village of Placencia, so we were glad we rented a car for our family. Getting around was easy (speed bumps, beware!) and there are so many amazing local restaurants to discover.

Beautiful spot. Fun house. Great views. We are a family of 4 which was really tight but last minute we made it work. It’s perfect for 2. Shanna kindly offered an air mattress which we stuffed at the foot of the bed upstairs because there is no air conditioning downstairs where the futon/kitchen is. It was way too hot to sleep downstairs.

Everything was picture perfect. It is a wonderful place to lay back and relax. Everything that you need is in walking distance. We walked a lot. Rented a golf cart from them for two days, but enjoyed walking more. Everything is local and there are great restaurants to eat at each day. Each day can be in a different place if you like. Went on a Mayan tour and was picked up at the bnb. It was a perfect vacation, can't say enough good things about the place. Not cheap, but well worth the cost!

This cabana was perfect for us. It is in the heart of Hopkins to get a really great feel for the town. Very walkable to many good restaurants. Loved the convenience of the grocery store. The cabana is exactly as described and pictured. The loft stairs are more of a ladder but were easy for us to navigate. Kevin and Patty happened to be in town and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Excellent air conditioning and internet if you need it. We drove from Belize City using Crystal auto rentals. It was very easy and we felt safe the entire time. We also took very easy drives to Palencia and Cockscomb. We will be back!

Lovely, rustic River Cabin. AC! Beautiful river view, a very comfortable sitting area on the porch, but not much seating inside the cabin unless at the table. Remember your bug spray, and be prepared for a dusty, bumpy ride in. Nice birds and nice neighbors. Fun fishing trip on the Sittee River! Approximately 15 minutes into Hopkins Village, and close to Cockscomb and Serpon Sugar Mill. Tonya was very responsive.

We had the most relaxing time at this beachfront cabin! It was beautiful, peaceful, and private, while also a very easy walk to restaurants and shops. We were sad to leave and would love to stay here again!

The location of the three cabins on the river is gorgeous. Waking up to Toucans and Parrots and a myriad of other beautiful tropical birds is such a treat. We caught enough Snook to give some away and feed us multiple meals. Our cabin was immaculate and the kitchen amenities were complete and then some. We made fruit smoothies in the blender every day from produce bought from vegetable stands in town. Guides brought tourists up the Sittee River where we stayed. The screened porch was wonderfully comfortable. The town is a two-mile dirt road, just enough to make the cabin feel wild, but close enough to town for daily visits. It’s safe and friendly…old-style Belize. More bicycles than cars and almost no big resorts. Just family-owned restaurants and shops and homes with their doors wide open. It’s really inexpensive to eat out; the food was simple but delicious, a Belikan Stout beer cost between $1.25 US and $2.00. But watch out because their alcohol content is high. A rare find.

Staying at Tonya's place was great. If you like something just a bit out of the way, but still close to town and the beaches, this is the place for you. I stayed a month and everyday I saw and experienced something new. At Tonya's place I was able to see, hear, smell, touch, and taste Belize in all of it's beauty. I had fresh local fruits I picked from nearby, along with making my own coconut water and pulp. I caught and ate fresh fish almost everyday. The kitchen was great for fixing my own meals. Living on the Sittee River I won't forget It was nice to have a bicycle available for use as well as the kayaks. The only thing constructive I would have to say is that Tonya please be a bit more clear on the use of the equipment. The listing stated that kayaks were available for guests to use. However, I later found out that that came with some restrictions and appeared to be different for different guests. Thanks Tonya for the gift of staying at your place. It was much appreciated.
