Just as described! Check in and parking were easy and convenient. Everything was great over all and the view was amazing. The pool area, hot tubs, lazy river were huge and definitely made this rental really fun. The indoor pool even came in handy when it got chill outside. For dinner we only drove about 5min down the road. My husband and I want to come alone one weekend just to enjoy everything by ourselves lol.

Super easy check in process, all the amenities and space was as described. Kitchen had all the things needed to cook meals at the house, and plenty of rooms and bedding for our 6 year old to try a different bed and bedroom every night! Easy access to the beach as well. Although not in Galveston proper, the ferry is both free and comes frequently and makes for a little fun adventure if excursions to Moody Gardens or other spots desired.

The photos of Doc's Quarters do NOT do this beautiful condo justice! Much prettier in person. Literally everything you need for a stress free stay. The views were stunning. And the Dawn property is very well maintained. We will absolutely stay here again next year and hopefully for many years to come. My family personally loved all the little notes around the condo. We enjoyed our stay at Nam's place. We were central to all of the attractions of the sea wall, yet her place was a peaceful retreat. Nam was responsive and ensured we had a smooth check-in.

This was the perfect location!! Right at the beach. Secure. Comfortable! Couldn’t ask for more! Hosts were terrific!!!!

Scott is quick to communicate, which is awesome. We immediately fell in love with the resort the minute we walked into our room and saw how amazing and spacious it is! We were on the 5th floor, towards the end, so close to the beach. At night I could hear the waves crashing on my right & the infinity pool crashing on my left - I slept amazingly! I loved that we could walk downstairs and right onto the beach, everything was so amazing, I wanted to never leave. Another cool thing about this resort is that there are tons of games and things to do. Movies are available for rent, and there is a little marketplace you can grab snacks, wine, even ice cream! The room had everything we needed. I was hoping there would be some beach chairs to check out, but there weren't any. We bought a cheap $10 boogy board from WalMart and ended up taking it home (Southwest let us take it as a carry on!). I did see they had buckets & sand toys available to check out and that is awesome. The pool and the hot tub were amazing. One of the best little getaways I've had in the last couple years!

This was by far the best place I've ever stayed in by the Texas coast. It can be difficult to find someplace affordable and not funky that allows pets. Tom's place is a gorgeous historic mansion in perfect condition, full of Tom's collections. We stayed in the upstairs (the downstairs has a permanent renter) with 2 beautiful balconies, a comfortable kitchen (though no toaster or way to toast bread in the oven), two stunning bedrooms with comfortable beds, a lovely living room and the rest of the house and stairs are full of Tom's collections of local and far away artifacts. When my car suddenly broke down - thank goodness it turned out to just need a new battery - I contacted Tom and he quickly responded, suggested a local mechanic and was always available for anything else. An extra bonus is the price is amazing and no extra doggie charge! Will definitely stay here again.

A real home with attention to detail for long and short stay. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Comfortable, homely furniture and furnishings. Great in-house laundry facilities. The house is in a quiet street and 10 min walk to the beach. The host is delightful, proactive and responsive. Would love to stay again if my travels take me to West Galveston. A real pleasure. Beautiful, clean beach house with all the amenities you could need. The golf cart was a huge plus for beach trips and exploring. Can’t wait to come back!

Wow! What an incredible place and an incredible host. We've stayed at over 30 Airbnbs and this is the only host that has gone this above and beyond - stocking the kitchen in anticipation of our Thanksgiving feast, a doggie basket with toys for our pups, a gorgeous pecan dessert and yummy pasta/sauce on the kitchen table, a zoom call to welcome us and to find out what else we needed (she ordered us more kitchen utensils & a fan from Target). The home feels like a home. Super clean, lots of character - high ceilings, lovely woodwork, lots of light, a sweet fully fenced in yard, and large comfy bedrooms. There are two bathrooms but everyone ends up using 1 upstairs as their main bathroom since it's the one with a shower - not an issue for us just FYI. The neighborhood is super walkable - so many gorgeous homes on every block. Easy to get to the Strand, beach and Broadway. Two thumbs way up for people with or without dogs! Simply amazing. Perfect place - was exactly as described. The host gave us very clear instructions and was responsive when we had questions. Would recommend to others and would stay here again if we come back to Galveston. We had 6 people and it was perfect size and comfortable

Beautiful view of the ocean! We went in the early spring, so some of the beach days were a little chilly. Outdoor shower and hot tub were perfect to clean off and warm up. Plenty of space for our big family and dogs. Jessica was so helpful and responsive, and the house had everything we needed. It was an absolute dream!

Nice place. close to Sunny Beach. Quiet. , relaxing, nice kitchen friendly neighbors and folks all around Galveston . Nice to have a grill for our fish we got at the seafood wholesaler! Close to restaurants, shopping and downtown Galveston Jesus responded personally to lights burned out ( his handyman was on vacation) and changes them and always responsive to texts and communication- very friendly helpful in local recommendations!

We had such a lovely stay! Mary the host was so friendly and helpful, and very quick to respond to all of our questions. The home was well stocked and had beach supplies to use. We loved the private hot tub, was very clean and great after a long day at the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

There are times in life where things don’t go as planned or something unexpected comes up. It’s in those moments when you get to see how people handle situations. The AC wasn’t working and Angela was easy to get a hold of and quick to respond. She went to work finding alternative condos and got the AC repair in progress. We opted to stay there and within 2 hours the AC was working. Our daughters loved looking at the ocean and pool from the balcony. And of course they had even more fun getting to splash around in both! All in all it was a fantastic weekend. Angela went out of her way to make sure our stay was a positive experience. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend others to do the same.

My stay at Cat’s apartment was fantastic! The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It was peaceful and perfect for relaxing. Mare Blu was the perfect condo for our couple retreat. This modern, gorgeous, loft-style unit is well decorated. The living room has extra windows on the side, which makes it look and feel more spacious, open and clean, comparing to the interior unit that we booked before. The stylish kitchen with modular open shelving is adorable and has everything that a guest could need. The bedroom feels very spacious, and we enjoyed the sunrise each morning. From the window, our serene view of the coves was a very peaceful moment accompanied by a cup of coffee. Having the extra space inside the garage was wonderful for a night of wine and good conversation. We absolutely loved and recommend Mare Blu. This is a keeper and our favorite spot to unwind when we visit Galveston. Planning on coming back already. Thank you, Marie, for your hospitality and for making our Thanksgiving stay a relaxed and memorable one.

Doug was a great host. He went beyond. Airbnb got me with those fee changes and Doug adjusted the price to the 1st price I saw when I 1st became interested. There was a hairdryer that went missing and Doug quickly replaced it. House was clean and I enjoyed being able to wash my clothes mid week reducing my launder when I got home. I would stay here again.

Big, roomy home!! Pool was perfect for us. Will definitely rent again!
