Heatherfield house self catering cabin The Shack

The Shack is a cosy cabin for two that has recently been refurbished to a high standard. Situated in Penifiler, a 10 minute drive from Portree, and close to the shore it has stunning views over Loch Portree. Centrally located on the island, it is an ideal spot to be based. It has a comfortable open plan living room with well equipped kitchen and double, en-suite bedroom. Outside there is a private seating area where, if the weather is behaving, you will be able to see the Old Man of Storr.

Only a 2 minute walk to the Loch and a 10 minute drive to both Portree and Uig for the major shops and amenities.

An Àirigh is a traditional shepherd's hut located in the crofting township of Borve. Just 4 miles from the island's capital of Portree, the cosy cabin is the perfect base for touring the island, hill walking, enjoying the many activities Skye has to offer, or simply relaxing and enjoying the view. Beautiful setting by the sea. 15 minute drive from Portree. Close to local bus route. Plenty of local wildlife to sit and observe. Within walking distance of local hotel. Outside area with seating provided to enjoy. We now have WiFi available to guests. Earlier (from 4pm) check-in available on certain days - please message to inquire. Small but functional - Pod is 3 meters x 4.8 meters.
