Bird watching is popular at Sandia Wetlands and Balmorhea Lake. It’s a perfect place to start or end your visit to the Big Bend area, or as an overnight stop-over when traveling on IH-10.

The cabin is private and is located on an acre shared with other employee housing. Part of the road is unpaved and shown in a picture. Please take this fact into consideration before booking. I cannot pave the road as it does not belong to me. I have asked the county to possibly pave the road and charge all property owners on property taxes, but will not.
