Nearby attractions in walking distance include the Open-Air Theatre, the Alpamare Water Park and numerous lovely restaurants and cafes. Our home is perfect for a couples getaway or a family visit in sunny Scarborough with lots of free parking outside the property. Free parking scratch cards provided!

Storey Corner - Where memories are made

Set on the side of a picturesque valley in the small hamlet of Hartoft Storey Corner is a private self contained wing of Storey House that makes for a relaxing, quiet, luxury retreat away from the hustle and bustle. Private Hot tub (new for 2026) Quiet location situated in the North York Moors national Park. An area of outstanding beauty and in the International Dark Skies area. Great for star gazing Perfect for couples Pickering, Whitby, Helmsley York and the coast are all within easy reach

Vere House-Apt 1, spacious, King bed, fab location

Vere House Apartments have been lovingly restored with a comfortable/quirky retro theme. They are larger than average in this area and are situated in a prime tourist location just 5-10 minutes from North Bay beach and 15 minutes from the town centre. All Scarborough's amenities are within walking distance. Apt 1 is ideal for 6 guests but 8 can be accommodated by setting up the sofa bed in bedroom 1 (small surcharge). Also look at the larger apartment 2 or even the whole house sleeping 14.

Close to Beach, Park & Open Air Theatre

Wake up ready for adventure in the heart of Scarborough. Walk to the beach for surf lessons, ride the miniature railway, explore the Sea Life Centre or bounce across giant inflatables at the North Yorkshire Water Park, just 20 minutes’ drive away. Enjoy live music at the Open Air Theatre or supper at a little Italian before relaxing back at the house with superfast WiFi, Netflix or card games. Families are fully catered for with travel cot, highchair, safety gates and children’s crockery.

Garden annex near Beach/Alpamare/Open Air Theatre.

The detached annexe is at the rear of our property. It has a lounge with a king size sofa bed, a single/twin room with a kitchenette and a shower room/WC. The sofabed was purchased new June 2026. There is space in the drive for one visitor car/storage for cycles in the garage. Unfortunately it does not have a cooker but there is a 2 ring electric portable electric hob, a microwave and a slow cooker. It will usually be possible to use the oven in the bungalow by arrangement.

Secluded Shepherd's Hut Outdoor Bath & Firepit

Set in a secluded spot, this cosy hut offers peace, nature, and stunning paddock views- just a 15 min walk to Scarborough. Stargaze whilst soaking in the outdoor bath or toast marshmallows by the fire pit. Inside, there’s a comfy double bed, log burner (starter logs included), bathroom, kitchen & seating. Off-grid but with a plumbed shower! No mains electric; solar only. A cool box is provided instead of a fridge, plus fluffy dressing gowns & towels for extra comfort.

* The property has 1 toilet* Pet free first floor apartment with 2 bedrooms; a well appointed master bedroom with a king size 4 poster bed & a second bedroom with a king size sleigh bed & JayBe single folding for a 5th guest. A short walk from the Esplanade and sea front. Appointed to a high standard with quality furniture & carpets, & period features. There is a well equipped kitchen which includes a range double oven ,dinning table & chairs and kitchen appliances.

Overlooking the famous Peasholm Park and within 5 minutes walk of Scarborough's North Bay Beach and Marine Drive, this is the perfect house to get away with family and friends. Sleeping up to 10 people, the house provides an ideal base for exploring the beautiful Yorkshire Coast and North York Moors.
