Mama Bears Den is the Perfect Location to Visit the Hatfield and McCoy Trails offering access to not only one but two different trail systems (Devil Anse & Rockhouse) within a mile of the property! Devil Anse connects with a Third trial system (Buffalo) offering days of trials with no need to trailer to other locations! Relax on the porch or by the fire pits while cooking on the grills by a scenic creek! While here visit the gravesite or museum of Devil Anse, just a short walking distance away.

Peggie’s Studio Retreat is nestled in a secluded hollow just minutes from the Bearwallow Trailhead of the Hatfields & McCoys’ Trail System. The space is a large art/photography studio that has been transformed into an inviting living space. You’ll love the peace and quiet after a day on the trails. Cabin 2 has everything you need for a comfortable escape. There is a queen bed and a pull out Twin XL. There is an extra mattress in the closet if needed. The kitchen is ready for chefs! A nice laundry room and bathroom also. Outside the cabin door you can sit on a bench and enjoy a fire, roast marshmallows and enjoy the scenery. Firewood is provided. Inside the cabin guests can enjoy 2 flat screen tvs plus a DVD collection. This cabin has heat & air.
