Half a mile away is Billie Creek Covered Bridge,famously known for the Covered Bridge festival. Make sure you visit all the historical covered bridges. A little town of Rockville has numerous antique stores. Great location for bike rides and walks and stargazing from the back patio. This is a must-see at this peaceful and centrally-located place.

It includes private stairs to a private dock with room for 2 boats. Wildlife is abundant and you are just minutes from Raccoon Lake State Park.

The 1938 Barn

The 1938 Barn is located in the ❤ of Covered Bridge Country in Parke County. You will love the rustic charm of this converted hay barn built in 1938. Come relax by the camp fire or explore our many Covered Bridges and local State Parks. The farm also hosts Henry's Market, a market garden providing fresh meat and vegetables which makes summertime an excellent time to visit! Please note: There is NO WI-FI, NO CABLE. We have a selection of DVDs. Limited cell service, AT&T works best.

The Narrows Cabins #2960 - The Nest

The Nest is a charming, fully renovated studio. Inside, 3 adults can sleep comfortably on a queen bed and futon couch, full bathroom and small kitchenette. The Narrows covered bridge & Turkey Run State Park border the property to the west. Firepit and charcoal grill outside. Firewood is provided for guests and is located in the black shed near the cabins. You may use our wagons to haul the firewood back to your cabin. Please take only what you need. Free will donation accepted.

The Getaway House with Hot Tub and Pool

Enjoy the beautiful hot tub year round with the woods as your view, along with a screened-in area on the back deck and a semi-inground, heated swimming pool! Roasting marshmallows over a campfire is perfect for those cool evenings on the large concrete fire pit (firewood is available, free of charge). Metal skewers and a charcoal grill provided (bring your own charcoal/lighter fluid). Pool open 6/6 -9/7/25. This charming 2 bdrm, 1 bath home is perfect for families or couples.

Cozy Farmhouse on 10 acres across from State Park

Gorgeous location and with picturesque scenery! The property is surrounded by Shades State park and there is the area is known as the covered bridge capital of the US with 33 covered bridges within a 20 minute drive. This home has been fully remodeled with two new baths, a master suite, a large screened porch and new kitchen all on 10 acres. You have the option to visit the Nordic spa at our Log Cabin next door for a discounted daily rate.

The Rural House

Rural setting with big yard located 15 minutes from the Covered bridge festival and 1 block away from Turkey Run. Enjoy watching nature and listening to Amish horses pass by in this nice, peaceful, Amish area. We are currently finishing the complete remodel and don’t plan on being completely ready for guests until October 1st. Some photos still show we have work to do, but we will leave no stone unturned turned when it’s finished.
