Driftwood cottage is a compact and beautiful detached 18th century stone cottage, set in it's own small garden and based in the idyllic hamlet of Cwm Ivy in North Gower. A magical walk from the property leads through the Whitford National Nature Reserve to both Whitford Sands and Broughton Bay (both are within half a mile). The Gower peninsular offers an array of beautiful coastal walks, open grasslands, woodland and marsh walks. It also boasts some of the most spectacular beaches in the UK.

My place is very close to the beach (3 minute walk), Wales Coastal Path (1 minute walk) and Oxwich Bay Hotel (3 minute walk). You’ll love my place because of the privacy, ambience, outdoors space (backdrop of a wood), neighbourhood, and 50 Mbs FTTP Wifi. It is good for couples or a family, for the beach, or lots of walks, or functions at Oxwich Bay Hotel. Our beachside chalet is set within twelve acres of lovingly tended private grounds. Bayview provides a secluded, safe, and friendly environment for couples and families of all ages. We are just a 5min stroll from the centre of the village, where you will find a convenience store, fish & chip shop and the spectacular sandy Oxwich Bay beach, stretching to Three Cliffs. Also in walking distance are plenty of countryside walks, the popular Beach House Restaurant, Oxwich Bay Hotel and the castle.

Village amenities such as an artisan bakery, independent shop/ cafe and heritage centre are all within a three or four minute walk.

Perfect modern and stylish base to explore Gower, South Wales. We renovated Cariad y Môr - (Welsh for Love the Sea) in 2022 in a modern design, being mindful of our ownyoung and growing family. The chalet is only a 7 min walk to Oxwich Beach and amazing woodland walks are on the doorstep. We can sleep 4, in one double bedroom and a twin bedroom. The chalet has a south-facing patio, ideal for al fresco dining There is allocated parking outside for one car and guest parking onsite
