We named Moon Bay Cottage for our favorite time to visit, when the moon is full, and the moonlight shimmers on the waters of Penobscot Bay. We invite you to come and fall in love with this wonderful spot where you drift to sleep listening to the lapping waters of the Bay, and calls of the Loons.

Seaside House/Upstairs

Enjoy everything coastal Maine has to offer with this as your home base. The views are outstanding and the house is well appointed and well maintained. This house encompasses the second and third floors, with great ocean views. The first floor is a separate apartment. The property has a large back yard to relax or play in and a dedicated BBQ. The house sits across the street from Clam Cove and is not directly on the beach. Beach access is private, quick and easy.

Beautiful upstairs suite with private entrance. Queen bed offers views of Mt Battie. Living room with TV (dvd and cd player). Kitchenette includes sink, microwave, small fridge, and coffee pot. Coffee and light snacks available. Private bath with shower. Quiet and convenient location, close to town. Within walking distance to shops, restaurants, parks, and harbor. Short drive will bring you to Camden Hills State park for hiking and site seeing.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located cottage by the sea. Walk along the the shoreline to explore downtown Belfast. A turn in the other direction takes you to City Park. Set on 7.5 acres of fields, woods, & gardens we are off the main road. Take a 4 minute stroll down a wooded path to our private beach on Maquoit Bay. Swim, fish, hunt for driftwood, or sit by the sea & listen to the waves. We feel this property affords a quiet and relaxing oasis.
