Spend a day on the lake and take advantage of your private dock (dock is seasonal due to winter water levels being low) Bring your boat (trailer parking on property) or use our kayaks to paddle around the cove. After your lake day, retreat to this cozy bungalow on a wooded lot. Grill-out and enjoy the outdoor eating area, sit by the fire or chill on the deck overlooking the lake. Close to boat ramps and marinas who offer gas dock, boat rentals and restaurants.

You’ll see bison grazing by the house, chickens roaming, and hear the occasional MOOOOOO of a cow. Stargazing and bird watching are excellent activities, but you can also fish, play frisbee, darts, cornhole, explore walking trails...

The Tree Top Loft is conveniently located in the Opelika entertainment district - convenient to restaurants, breweries, distilleries and shopping. Auburn University is an easy 15min by car.

The Blue Heron is our 2 BR/1 BA 710 sq ft modern designed guesthouse that sits on 4.5-acres lake front property with 650 feet of water frontage. This retreat is close to everything, ~30-35 minutes to Ft Moore/Columbus, Pine Mtn/Calloway Gardens & Auburn/Opelika. Private hot tub, fire pit and hammock. In the country but close to everything. 2 min from I-185; 4 min from I-85. 1 hr. from Atlanta airport or Auburn. 45 min from Columbus. Unit is private comfortable rustic Studio Apartment with bath, for 1 or 2 ppl - (1 queen bed). Pool out front door! We live in separate log house next door - where 1 bedroom (queen) @ $35 is usually available for ADDITIONAL guests in YOUR party. Brkfst sometimes available for a fee by request.
