Absolutely amazing! Listing is exactly as shown and described. Be sure to read the description so you are prepared. We love the off grid living so this was right up our alley. Will definitely be back not only to enjoy The space, but to see what Josephine and her husband have built. Make sure to bring food and drink to store in the fridge and lighting to navigate the dome. Typical quiet nights for being nature. You do hear the cicadas and the occasional dog gathering but nothing disruptive. Very close to restaurants and activities, but we recommend the 4 x 4 - we found it easy to get around on the quad. (The hill up to the dome is very steep!) Lots of wildlife to see. We saw parrots capybaras and other birds local to the area. We even got to enjoy some of the pasteurized milk that they offer on site, from their beautiful cows. Definitely recommend indulging in Josephine‘s products. As I said we will be back!

Really enjoyed the space especially the scenic view of the upper floor and the rustic vibe of the kitchen. Julie was also a fantastic host who was super kind and responsive. We felt very welcomed in this place and any dramas we had were sorted out immediately!

A wonderful place to escape! Perfectly located by the lake yet easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. The house is very spacious for the price with everything you might need included, well equipped kitchen and plenty of outdoor seating including a hammock to enjoy the view. Yariela was always available to respond to messages straight away and happy to help, her family and neighbours were incredibly welcoming and friendly. This would definitely be my first choice when I return to Ometepe!

très bon rapport qualité-prix. la cuisine et le frigo sont fonctionnels. l'endroit est calme et tranquille. la terrasse avec la vue sur le lac et le volcan est magnifique ! ojo de agua et une plage sont accessibles à pieds. possibilité de louer un scooter sur place au prix le plus bas qu'il est possible de trouver sur l'île. très bon scooter pratiquement neuf. les hôtes sont adorables, de bons conseils. on recommande !! 🙏😁 gracias para todo!

We had a perfect few days here, Lesbia was very responsive to any questions we had. The whole place is private, secluded and secure. The beds are huge and very comfortable, everything was spotlessly clean, the grounds are beautiful, lots of friendly dogs which our children loved. Pictures dont really do this place justice, it's way better that it looks! Breakfast and coffee was delivered to us each morning by our host and was delicious. I highly recommend this place if you feel like getting away from it all on Ometepe Island. I would recommend your own transport; we rented a truck in Moyogalpa and was was great fun to explore the island at our own pace, lots of gravel roads but had no problems. Highlight of the stay was relaxing in the hammocks listening to the sounds of the jungle, as well as grabbing a couple of kayaks and canoeing down the lakeshore to Cabalitos Mar for a few Tonas and a freshly grilled lake fish! Highly recommended 👌🏻

Wir haben die Zeit in Balgue sehr genossen! Wir konnten die Unterkunft mit dem Google maps Link problemlos finden und wurden sehr freundlich begrüsst. Die Unterkunft ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und die Küche gut ausgestattet. Der Garten der Unterkunft ist ein TRAUM! Sehr viele verschiedene Pflanzen und Tiere. Der Gärtner Amilcar hat sein grosses Wissen mit uns geteilt und wir konnten viel über die Bäume, Pflanzen und Früchte lernen. Wir genossen die täglichen Besuche der kleinen Katzen und der Hunde. Die Tiere sind sehr lieb, wenn man sie streicheln will. Sie sind aber gar nicht aufdringlich. Wir haben das Frühstück dazugebucht, welches uns jeden Morgen auf unserer Terrasse serviert wurde und der perfekten Start in den Tag war! Wir können diese Unterkunft von Herzen empfehlen!
