Kōura - Luxury in Ohakune

Stunningly renovated from the Historic Post Office to a stylish comfortable apartment, made fully accessible for those using a wheelchair or needing step free access. The open plan living, dining and kitchen has everything you need for your group. With comfy beds and private Spa pool you’ll have the perfect base to rest and relax after a day out on the Mountain and Ruapehu area. The Space The spacious apartment is fully accessible for those in a wheelchair or needing step free access. It features a central open plan living, dining and designer kitchen with everything you need for dining in. Bed 1 - (accessible) Queen Bed Bed 2 - King Bed 3 - King or two Singles All the bedrooms have black out blinds/curtains. The second shower room and toilet separated making sharing a little easier! Both designer bathrooms have underfloor heating in the winter months and automatic night lights. With your own Spa pool in the private courtyard, you’ll be able to sooth your tired muscles and enjoy a restful soak. We have a dedicated laundry and drying room building (shared between the three Rata Apartments) There is one lockable drying room for each apartment which ensures dry boots and snow gear. For bikes we have an onsite secure storage container.

Tui Glen -Quaint Batch Studio in a beautiful spot

Tui Glen Our Quaint Batch compact Studio has old world charm , but has been been somewhat upgraded /modernised. It is located in a quiet secluded spot surrounded by lovely natural native bush, punga's and ferns Sit on the deck in the morning sun and feel the ambiance and soak up all the natural beauty and hear the sound of Tuis, and Bellbirds, and of the roar of the Snow fed River in the valley below the batch. This is a delightful cosy private hide away place built for two .

Waireka Apartment

Waireka Apartment, situated in Ohakune in the Ruapehu District is a self contained 2 bedroom apartment each with a queen size bed, a large lounge with mountain views, kitchen and own spa pool. Spa Pool operates from 10am to 10pm Cleaning on departure is included in the rate. Very comfortable & relaxing, option to hang bikes securely out back. Alpine decor chalet that is located Junction area walking distance to the local night life (powerkeg/kings & some great cafes. This chalet is well furnished & has everything you need for a winter or summer stay.

Cosy in the Centre of Ohakune

This one bedroom apartment is on the ground floor of our family home (we live on the 2nd and 3rd floors). It is in the middle of Ohakune, halfway between Turoa Junction and Ohakune centre. They're a walks close by, Turoa is 20 minutes drive away and we have a list of walks that are nearby and suit a range of people. Parking is right in front of the apartment as per the photos in the listing. Our house manual also has a list of the best spots in Ohakune to check out.

Apartment 2 - Ski Hideaway for 2

You'll have a great time at this comfortable place to stay. Located across the road from the historic railway that helped shape Ohakune. Expect trains passing by. A cul-de-sac at the end of Thames Street. We are a 5 minute drive from the supermarket and a 5 minute walk to restaurants, bars and cafes. Easy access to the ski fields, with Whakapapa only 50 minutes away and Turoa only 20 a minute drive.
