Elizabeth was a fantastic host and it was easy to follow her instructions laid out in the listing. Accommodation was as described and the location was beyond our expectations. Perfect setting for a relaxing weekend and close to lots of amenities. Thank you Elizabeth for sharing your wonderful place with us. We would easily return and use this accommodation again.

We absolutely LOVED this little cottage and everything around it! It is extremely peaceful and quiet. Surroundings are beautiful! Being able to walk all over the property on the trails and to visit the lake just made it even better. Everything was exactly as described. John is very responsive and even came by to show us how some things work and just for casual conversation, which was extremely nice! He gave us the history on the lands and recommended places to visit and eat. He was just so nice! We will definitely be back!

Really enjoyed my stay with Darryl. Beautiful part of the country with plenty to see. I was staying for work but I'm very much hoping to return and spend some time exploring the surroundings!

If you have a chance to stay with Frances you are so lucky. One of the nicest hosts I’ve met through AirBnB. The house was perfect and spotless. Homemade baked goodies were to die for on arrival. The fire was lighting, the heat was on and the house was so cosy and warm. Beautiful and quiet location in the countryside. We booked Prosecco Painting and it did not disappoint. The snacks and Prosecco was flowing and the 4 of us now see ourselves as budding artists. The hot tub in the evening to relax topped it all off. All the locals we met on a walk were so friendly and helpful. The beds were so comfy. A home away from home. We will definitely cross paths with Frances again. She is just amazing!!!!

Loved our stay, great host and home!

Absolutely one of the best stays and experiences we’ve had! The views and walks are gorgeous, quiet, and peaceful. The house was clean and warmed quickly. The water was hot and the pressure was perfect. We had everything we needed! Do pickup a few basic groceries to have around, since towns are a little ways out— there is a bus stop about 1.5 miles from the property. John was wonderfully helpful and communicative!
