The Wood Pile Inn getaway

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. This historic cabin built in 1920 was recently refurbished to its old charm with some modern upgrades for your comfort. The original owner of the Cabin was an author named Catherine Woods. She wrote the very first book on the history of Palomar Mountain; Teepee to Telescope. You'll find a copy in the cabin for a good read.Lots of natural light make this little cabin feel spacious, the windows throughout the cabin offer a beautiful forest view.

Cedar Crest

Cedar Crest is a nicely remodeled cabin while keeping its original charm. It is easy access. A few steps lead you to the deck in the middle of the trees... This cabin can sleep 2 people in a king bed and if you would like to bring your kids, the master bedroom has a full size futon. (Kids sleep free) For pet owner, the east side of the cabin has a fenced-in space. We recommend you do not let them be there unsupervised as a motivated mountain lion could jump the fence and arm your pet.

The Little House in the Oaks

11 mins to Jacumba Hot Springs Hotel- live music + restaurant, 30 mins to PCT trailhead. Modeled after the 1970s series “Little House on the Prairie,” the house is nestled in the oak grove on 32 acres of land. Features include a wood burning fireplace, full kitchen, a clawfoot tub that looks out into the oaks, and a private outdoor eating area. Back Country Retreat is nestled under oak trees and surrounded by a natural rock setting. You will be greeted with several flower gardens. The retreat has a lovely flagstone patio with outdoor gas firepit and custom cedar bar. Pine Valley has clear night skies with no light pollution. You will feel right at home in this quiet neighborhood with access to the Cleveland National Forest for hiking, biking or birding. Owners live on the same property, so you may see them.

The Desert View Tower

STAY OVERNIGHT AT THE DESERT VIEW TOWER! You will have The Tower all to yourselves from 5 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Sleep anywhere in the Tower on futons or couches (bedding available). You will have access to Boulder Park, and 99 acres of private desert property all day. Barbecue outside. You may also us the guest cabin with all household furnishings, toilet, shower, kitchen etc. Or, sleep under the stars.

La Luna Lookout - modern mountain

This is a mountain retreat with amazing views located just two miles from downtown Julian. Come enjoy a stay in a one bedroom, 1 &1/2 bath with over 1200 modernized square feet of space. Sit on the deck to see the amazing views including surreal moon rises and sunrises. The view starts at the edge of Julian and goes as far as the Salton Sea on clear days.
