This newly renovated ground floor one bedroom annexe is situated in the heart of the National Forest on Moira Road in Shellbrook, a hamlet within the area of Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire. With country walks on the doorstep and only a 20-minute walk into the old market town of Ashby, provides an idyllic place for walkers, cyclists, and business travellers. Nearby amenities include Hicks Lodge (National Cycle Centre), Conkers, Ashby Castle, Charnwood Forest Alpacas and Calke Abbey are a few!

Hastings Retreat The Dairy Barn with Fishing Lake

"The Dairy" is a 2 bedroomed barn conversion sitting in a recently converted rural complex nestled in 76 acres of open fields and woodland with a 3 acre private fishing lake, right at the Heart of the National Forest. Just a few minutes drive from the historic town of Ashby de la Zouch with lots of boutique shops, bars and restaurants. Adjacent to Hicks lodge Cycle Centre and the many surrounding walks. Situated just outside of Twycross, Leicestershire. The Shepherds hut is isolated in its own part of the countryside. Completely private and surrounded by nothing but field and nature. The luxurious hut is fully equipped with kitchenette, bathroom, mains power and water along with a log burner and heated flooring. Outside a fire pit ,seating area and a wood burning hot tub awaits and is the perfect spot for you to enjoy the stunning view and sunsets. No pets Adults only

The Coach House

The Coach house is a self contained apartment within a village setting,which benefits from a local convenience store. It is situated close to the M42 with good road links to all Midlands towns and cities. Netherseal is within The National Forest which allows access to numerous walks. There are many attractions close eg Calke Abbey, The National Forest, Staunton Harold and National Arboretum We provide a welcome pack with fresh bread, milk, eggs and preserves

Boothorpe Farmhouse

Boothorpe Farmhouse is up a single track, no through road in a quiet Hamlet of Boothorpe which borders Leicestershire & Derbyshire. It is surrounded by the National Forest providing the best views and walks. The cottage is of historic note and is listed in the Doomsday Book but has been stylishly designed and provides a comfortable place to stay. There are are some amazing places to visit and things to do also a number of good local pubs and restaurants

Conveniently located for the market town of Ashby-de-la-Zouch, with it’s Castle, country walks on the door step with the added bonus of a local Public House (The Black Lion) selling a selection of real ales, across the lane. This makes this the perfect place to explore the National Forest and everything it has to offer. Charging of electric vehicles by prior arrangement only, at an additional cost.
