JGB’s Farm and Getaway

We are in the country next to a blacktop road.This is a very laidback place , there are farm animals across the road at our farm. This was my moms farm house and I just want people to enjoy it as much as she did. We are close to Kincaid Lake, the local winerie, the World Shooting Complex, and hiking trails (Piney Creek Revenue). Come and enjoy a day fishing or just sitting on the back deck enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Later build a fire and sit back and relax. Come and enjoy the country.

This an animal lovers get away. We are a 60 animal farm that offers you a unique petting zoo experience in the country. Enjoy the beautiful sunsets from the big country back porch, cook dinner or watch a movie in the old silo, enjoy a lantern lite bon fire from the rustic cabin, play the slots or enjoy your favorite drink at our rustic barn bar. Guest have the whole upstairs , 2 loft rooms of the barndominium with your own bathroom and shower on main floor. Area is seperate from host area.

Wonderful, quaint simple farmhouse with nice decor, trees & acres! 1898 home updated 2008. Central Air and new heating system 7/21/24 Yeah!!! WiFi as of 8/25!!! Main floor-full bed 2 quests . Two firm futons in adjoining living room great for children. Teens & adult guests are welcome to stay upstairs Queen and twin bed. No children please upstairs - steep steps and no protected windows. We are only 5.1 miles from the magnificent historic Cedarhurst Center for the Arts and 18 miles from the beautiful Rend Lake. Our property has been made with the conveniences of being ADA accessible. A one level home with a step in shower and newly added ramp for easier entry. We do also offer fishing from our gazebo on our large pond. The home includes utensils you may need to make a meal.

The Carriage House

Cute and cozy, this tiny carriage house is packed with charm. Originally used as a place to store a horse-drawn carriage, this delightful building has been completely refurbished with everything you need for a clean and comfortable stay, including endless hot water, vinyl plank flooring, front porch, laundry, and eat-in kitchen. The bedroom has a queen bed, comfy recliner, and Roku-enabled TV. Please notify me if you are bringing any pets. I want to know dog breed and age.

The Doll House

Not suitable for work groups. Our Victorian doll house is Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it maintains its original features yet is updated with modern conveniences. The kitchen is fully equipped. Wifi is available and the home is within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. Enjoy the peaceful backyard while you sit on the porch & relax. An easy drive 4 miles south of I-64. No third party bookings. Use of property to registered guests only.
