Immerse yourself in this unique & tranquil getaway. Enjoy the fully renovated, all new fixtures & furnishings providing a modern interior with a homely feel. The rustic exterior provides the High Country charm of yesteryear nestled on 30 acres of rural tranquility. 100m from the main residence you have your own privacy. We call this our Cabin but it is a small home with 110m2 living area & 47m2 of outdoor undercover living. 13 minutes from Mansfield & ideally located to explore the High Country.

BARNAWARTHA ACCOMMODATION - DALKEITH CABIN

Dalkeith Cabin is situated in Barnawartha which makes a great base to explore historical Chiltern and the surrounding regions of Rutherglen, Beechworth, Yackandandah, Mt Pilot National Parkland with the snowfields of Mt Beauty 1 ½ hours away and Falls Creek 2 hours away. We are 5 minutes’ drive off the Hume Highway, and 20 minutes’ drive up the Hume to Wodonga/Albury. Come and enjoy our piece of paradise, relax on the deck after exploring our wonderful region with a glass of our regions wine.

Tewksbury Lodge is a 4.5 star Log Cabin, located 5 mins drive from Bright, with great views of Mount Buffalo, nestled beside the Ovens River. You’ll love the Lodge which offers the unique experience of an authentic, hand-crafted log cabin. The tranquil setting, the cosiness of the Log Cabin, spa, log fire, comfy beds and leather recliners offer an accommodation experience difficult to find elsewhere in Australia. The Lodge is self catering and good for 1 or 2 couples or families with kids.

Set on two hectares of steep landscaped grounds, the unique site will take your breath away with its native plantings, visiting kangaroos, native birds, and private outdoor dining space.

Avalon House: The Mine Managers

The Mine Managers Suite at Avalon House has some of the original timber wall panelling dating back to 1889 giving it old word charm whilst upgraded modern amenities make it a warm and comfortable private apartment for two. This was the residence of Thomas Davey who managed the Harrietville Gold Company till the great depression in the 20’s. With a private pet friendly courtyard, it is in the centre of town walking distance to Cafes, Parks, Rivers, Pubs and all Harrietville has to offer.

Bush retreat near Beechworth-Fire &Outdoor Bath

A private bush retreat near Beechworth — designed to slow down and switch off. Fully equipped with reliable power and hot showers, with a fireplace for warmth — all the comfort of home, without the crowds. Unwind by the fire, soak in the outdoor bath and step out under the stars. Venture out to wineries and local history if you wish, then return to your own secluded escape. Sleeps up to 6, however best suited to couples or small groups seeking space, privacy and time to enjoy it.

You will wake to the sound of native birds and will definitely see kangaroos and possibly goannas, lizards, wombats and the resident echidna. If you decide to venture out, Mansfield is just 10 minutes away. It has a bustling retail centre which includes many great food/dining options and a wide variety of attractions/activities.

Beaunart cabin

Our cosy private solar powered cabin is set on our farm in the picturesque Kiewa Valley. Close to snow fields, the Hume Weir, Kiewa River, and gourmet food and wine regions. Everything you need for a relaxing weekend away from life's hustle and bustle! We have gas stove and heating and the shower is run with a solar powered gas heating system . There is also a solar powered fridge in the cabin for guests . Sunsets and star gazing are perfect

Pete's Alpine Studio 3

Comfortable and eclectic, this self contained one bedroom studio (one of three) has been built almost entirely from recycled materials. Located at Alpine Ridge, in the heart of the high country and just 4 kilometres from the base of Mt Buller, it is perfectly located for exploring this pristine area. Suitable for people who love the mountains and everything that goes with it. Two other studios are also available.

The Cabin at Kevington, on the Goulburn River

Set on the banks of the beautiful Goulburn River, the cabin is ideal for a romantic escape, family getaway or weekend with friends. Just 50 minutes to the gates of Mt Buller and 15 minutes to the nearest boat ramp at Lake Eildon, you can choose to do a multitude of activities in the area or just relax by the river in summer or by the cosy fire in winter.
