We’ve traveled all over the world, but this house tops our list. It far exceeded our expectations: spotless, beautifully appointed, with heavenly beds and an incredible setting. The cozy heated floors, well-designed kitchen with a bonus coffee nook, enchanting primary suite fireplace, and stunning views from every bedroom made our stay unforgettable. We loved the huge deck, hot tub, and light-filled dining area overlooking forest, river, and mountains. Visiting in winter for the kids’ ski school was perfect—coming back to this tranquil wonderland after the bustle of town felt magical. It’s close to great amenities yet surrounded by peaceful BLM land. The kitchen layout was wonderfully functional for multiple cooks, with health-conscious cookware and a second dishwasher in the coffee nook. We explored the land by the river, which was breathtaking. We can’t wait to return in summer to leave the windows open and enjoy the soothing sounds.

Other than a small problem with the lock box (my fault), everything was really good. We were the only guests, so saying it was quiet and relaxing is easy to say, but, from the looks of the entire property, it is quite likely always a quiet relaxing place. We enjoyed it.

Lovely bright sunny room with nice outlook. Very clean & comfortable. Very convenient to all amenities in Norwood. Quiet location. Will be visiting again for sure.

Mark’s place was really beautiful. The location can’t be beat! There’s so much property that you can hike your way through. It’s very secluded and private and I’ve never seen so many stars out at night! It’s definitely very special. He has two dogs that live on the property who will happily guide you down the trails. First there’s Magic who is a sweet little lady who will gently get you where you need to go. She was great with my little dog Piper. Then there’s Owen who has the soul of a very charming escaped convict. He’s still just a puppy so he’s learning the ropes. Don’t leave your sneakers out around him! He wasn’t great with my dog so they did need to be separated. But Mark was super responsive and handled it right away. Owen is a little sweetheart but he’s still a puppy so if you have a small dog just be mindful. He’s probably great with big dogs. But he’ll definitely keep you entertained with his lovable antics!

A slice of Colorado heaven! Privacy in a beautiful location made this a great little getaway from the everyday. Million dollar views paired with this cozy cabin made it so memorable. Comfortable amenities and functional spaces made it an easy stay for four adults. Definitely recommend!

Excellent home with wonderful amenities. The home is just as described, the setting is beautiful and convenient to the main roads and Placerville. There is an excellent General Store with breakfast sandwiches, coffee and some necessary items in the town. Alcohol is also available if desired from the store. While about a 25-30 min drive to:from Telluride, the location and amenities really are excellent and worth the short drive to/from town and the skiing. Internet was also fast and reliable making staying connected for business needs possible and needed as connection to cellphone service is limited at the house and you may need to use WiFi Calling instead with your cellphone/service. This worked great for each of us, so once on the WiFi we were connected for voice and text messages for AT&T & Verizon phones.

Dianna was very quick to respond to messages and it was a beautiful peaceful place to stay for Christmas while visiting family and friends. I loved the real Christmas tree! It was perfect!

Polly was a great host. She took the time to call and make sure check in went well and everything at the location was good. This is a great location and beautiful place to stay

Beautiful secluded home around 40 minutes drive to telluride. To our surprise, this is a dark sky zone. Wake up at 1 am and see the sky you will be rewarded with majestic milky way sighting!❤️
