Welcome to Tjeldøya Slott🤎 We are located on a beautiful island 30 minutes away from the airport. Where you can enjoy long white beaches close to the accommodation, hiking routes on the island, fishing and of course our breathtaking nature. You will have one bedroom with a double bed. Bathrooms and kitchen is shared with other guests Actual adress will be provided after booking. Super market is 10 minutes away (by car) and Evenskjer is 25 minutes away with 2 larger shops and liquor store.

There is a lot to experience in Hyllestad, both for the active one but also for the ones that wants to relax and enjoy the harmonious environment. The nature around Sognhostel gives peace for body and soul. All the seasons has its own charm. If you are up for a hike, hiking trails start just outside our doorstep. You can rent bikes, boats and kayaks close by to explore the area. 10 km from our hostel you will find the Millstone Park, which is an outdoor Viking museum.

You’ll have a sound night’s sleep in our wooden, custom-made beds outfitted with a privacy curtain, reading light and electrical socket to charge your gear for another day outdoors. Our dorms have either 4 or 6 beds, it is one bed per booking. The dorm comes with shared bathrooms in the hallway.
