We had such an amazing time here, you can really tell the owners put a lot of care into making this place a home away from home. Had everything we needed and more. Coming from a three day backpacking trip in Yosemite this was a much needed break. Breakfast and relaxing on the deck in the sun by the water listening to the birds, we were even surprised by 5 or 6 deer in the front yard the last morning, it was awesome. The house was very nice, had enough space for myself and eight friends, ample towels and bedding, all the cookware and supplies you could ask for, AC and heaters, they even had three boats we used to go fishing for a few hours in the morning. The lake was awesome, the ONLY negative here is the $50 entrance fee to the Pine Mountain Lake neighborhood. They do have amenities in PML that help make that worth it and the pass is for 7 days, but we didn’t have time to go check those out, oh well. Altogether this place was unforgettable and my friends and I can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful cabin, great location, well appointed, clean. Cozy and warm, this place was perfect for our little family getaway to play in the snow. The extra touches like plenty of board games, books, little soaps, quilts, and firewood elevate the experience. Host was very responsive and friendly. We didn't have any issues during our stay and had a perfect weekend. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Sweet Dreams! The home felt cozy and peaceful, surrounded by redwoods for a secluded vibe, yet not too isolated. It was very clean upon arrival, aside from the coffee pot which still had old grounds and residue - a simple oversight and easy fix. Amenities were as expected, though it was a bit inconvenient to bring our own spa towels (even if expected). Luckily, we were able to borrow some from family nearby. Check-in was easy with clear instructions—just be sure to screenshot them, as cell service is limited in the area as explained in the description. I did reach out to the hosts about a minor issue (a tear in the dryer vent, which didn’t impact our stay), and they responded quickly with a solution that worked for us! We’d definitely recommend this home to couples, small groups, or pet owners. Families with small children should be cautious around the open stairs, and keep in mind that most activities are a 15–30 minute drive away.

the location is perfect, close to the Valley with a very nice view. The house is pretty old but is plenty of charm. Kids love the place. Communication with Isaac was very easy and réactive. A great place to visit and hike in Yosemite

This place was great to stay at! We loved the big kitchen, the various sleeping areas, and lovely views of the river. Even though it was cold during our stay, we loved the river access and made heavy use of the beach.

Everything was great! Place has unique climate and it is very cozy. Sara and Tony was responding very quickly and helped us with everything. Place looks so much better than in the pictures :) We really recommend this house!

This place is magical. There’s a creek in the backyard and surrounded by trees. You feel so far away from everything, but there’s a grocery not too far. The coffee shop right down the street is also very good. 10/10 would come back

This is a lovely place with such historic charm. Truly a gem in Modesto and really cool design that needs to be kept up. There are somethings that need to be attended to, and I’m confident they will make changes noted to them. I rented it the night before for the next day so I know that played a role and at the same time, if it’s available then it should be ready. We didn’t get to utilize all the things shared as cool features as they weren’t working. Overall, I would stay again on the premise that certain things are fixed as it’s a beautiful home near my family.

We enjoyed this excellent cabin in Portola Valley for 3 great nights. It was wonderful place to relax and recharge. Many thanks to the host for helpful information about the cabin and the surrounding area. Thanks a lot!

Beautiful cabin location for my family trip during the holidays. It was nestled among a creek and woods and it was very peaceful and cozy. Would love to come back in the summer and go kayaking. It was unfortunately raining hard during our stay but we had much to do inside with games, a fireplace and going into downtown to visit the numerous cute shops. Overall loved our stay!

My partner and I celebrated our first anniversary here and are so happy we did! The treehouse is even more charming and beautiful (and spacious!) than the pictures let on. The property is gorgeous and secluded. It was a perfect escape and a great jumping off point for some fantastic hiking in the redwoods. Dusty and Veronica were great hosts and super responsive. We would definitely stay again.

Loved staying here for a weekend. Peaceful and quiet among the trees. The space is so beautifully designed and was a treat to experience. I would happily return!

Our nights in the trees were a check on our bucket list. The sounds, views, and peace were all we could hope for. Jodie was attentive and her care was appreciated. Memories made in the trees will be cherished.

It’s a treehouse, so it's more about charm and adventure than luxury. That said, the kids absolutely loved it and had a blast! We really enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and the peaceful atmosphere—it was a lovely escape.

The Shiitake treehouse provided a lovely 3-day home for our family on our roadtrip to the Redwoods from Seattle. We enjoyed waking each morning to the beautiful surrounding forest and filtered light. The cozy loft had comfy beds and wonderful little windows to peer out of. The shared bathrooms and showers were clean and easy to access. We enjoyed the delightful property, frisbee golf course, and our evening dips in the pool. This was well-located for exploring nearby hiking trails and our trip to the Oregon Caves National Monument.

The coolest place I’ve ever stayed! Loved all the attention to detail. The treehouse was so fun and so cute. The bed was very comfortable! I’d love to stay at this gem again.

Absolutely magical. Simultaneously felt one with nature and completely pampered at the same time! I would love to go back and have already recomended it to friends!

This is one of those places where superlatives just don’t do it justice. Robin and Mark immediately made us feel welcome, they took us in a tour of their incredible vineyard, before giving us a wine tasting. All that even before we saw the Eden of a place we were staying. The treehouse was spectacular. Our time there was perfect, we can’t wait to go back.

My family and I really loved staying at this beautiful cabin! It was extremely cozy for the cold weather, and was very comfortable for the three of us with three separate beds and very comfortable mattresses and pillows. Our host Nate was very responsive the entire trip and helped us figure out the best trails for hiking and also gave great advice for enjoying the area. We brought in our own food and made meals in the well-equipped kitchen, and had cozy evenings watching shows on the large projector screen. There are also lots of games and books to enjoy! The cabin is extremely close to the southern entrance of Lassen Volcanic National Park as well. It was a lovely and relaxing stay!

We had a fantastic stay at Christine’s place! The home was beautiful, clean, and full of character—exactly what we were hoping for. The surroundings were so beautiful and peaceful and made for such a relaxing getaway. We also made a quick trip to Big Trees that was just awesome.

We had a truly amazing stay at Spencer‘s beautiful cabin treehouse. They were extremely accommodating, even letting us change our dates the night before because of a storm coming in. The cabin is cozy and has a stunning view to wake up to, fully stocked kitchen, And easy access to the amazing redwoods nearby. We even brought our dog, she had a great time too!
