The Overlook neighborhood is one of Portland's hidden gems. Quiet, tree lined, yet only a few minutes from all the action Portland serves up. Walk or ride to meals, brewpubs or shopping in the Mississippi and Williams districts. Hop a train (three blocks away) to downtown or The Pearl District. A garden oasis and your own entrance to a private daylit ground floor apartment with a queen size bed, a fold out queen futon sofa bed in the common area and its own bathroom. Within easy walking /biking distance1.7 miles to hip strolling neighborhoods Alberta, Mississippi and Williams of north Portland. The studio cottage is located in an east Portland neighborhood bordering the city of Gresham. It is close to public transport (near a MAX light rail station), the airport and outdoor activities (the Columbia Gorge; Mt Hood) and is a 20-30 min drive to downtown. It's cozy (eclectic vintage style), a wooded 1-acre setting within the city limits, and has secure premises (electric gate). Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. Please no young children.

Your cottage is private with views of the garden. It’s a unique tiny home that feels big with high ceilings, lots of natural light & warm accents. You have everything to cook most meals. There are plenty of local food, drink & shopping options nearby. Walk the neighborhood, see city highlights, visit parks, hike to falls, feed chickens, pick seasonal fruits & veggies, or just sit in the garden or covered patio with a book & a cat. This is your home away from home.

Concordia Guest Suite, NE Portland

This sophisticated, well appointed basement guest suite with private entrance and a lovely backyard oasis is located within walking and biking distance (one mile) from the Alberta Arts District. The shaded backyard with secret garden paths calls out to you to explore. Guests are welcome to use the gas grill, outdoor patio seating, or our fire table in the evenings. We invite you to sit and enjoy some local micro-brew or local Oregon wines while relaxing here.

Come stay in our award winning tiny house, featured in Portland Monthly, Dwell, and Curbed! Our home was featured on the AIA Modern Homes Tour of Portland in Spring 2016. 250 sq ft., 1 block away from restaurants, locally owned shops, bars, a Whole Foods, and great access to public transportation. You have your own private entrance to the tiny house, so you don't ever have to worry about hearing footsteps overhead from being in a basement apartment.
