Richard was a fantastic host for our Easter family holiday. Beautiful cottage, stunning surroundings and immaculate, one of the best AirBnB places we’ve stayed and would highly recommend to anyone looking for an escape to the country. Local pub was fab and very friendly for our 6 year old.

The property was beautiful and the setting is idyllic. We had everything we could need and it was lovely that Andrea and Sally allowed my 3 dogs as many others only allow 2. We will definitely be booking a return visit !

Had a beautiful few days away here. The cottage is set in beautiful countryside, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the host was very accommodating.

Amazing host who went above and beyond by decorating the place with happy birthday banners and balloons for my Mums stay for her 60th birthday. The place has so much character and is in such a perfect location

Lovely cosy cabin in idyllic location, perfect for a weekend get away. Cabin was very clean and equipped with everything you need. Hot tub was such a nice addition and perfect to watch the sunset. Would definitely recommend and would return 😊

Fantastic house in beautiful surroundings - we were a group of 11 and the house was so well equipped with everything we needed. The online guidebook provided in advance was very thorough and helpful with recommendations for the local area and information on the house amenities. Would definitely stay again with a group and would recommend to anyone!

Tom’s place was great! Really. cosy, very clean and comfortable. The beds and bedding were divine. Tom was on hand to help with any queries. His lace actually was better than it appears in the photos! Highly recommend staying here!

Fantastic hosts around whenever you need but also very discreet. Beautifully finished and has everything you could ever think of needing. Plenty of hot water and the shower was lovely. Very warm and cosy. Very grateful for the milk, butter, bread etc to get us started. The bed is worth a special mention - I have a sore back and shoulders and it was not only huge but incredibly comfortable. We took 2 chaotic dogs with us and very grateful for the paddock to let them free run. There is a lovely guest recreation space - photos don’t do it justice. Other properties there but each one private and you would never know it. Definitely be back for a holiday to relax and a chance to enjoy the lovely garden. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thankyou!

Had a lovely Easter break, the accommodation was amazing and spotless. The effort that has gone into these pods are second to none, spotless and clean. Everything you would ever need was provided. The bottle of Prosecco was a lovely touch. Such beautiful surroundings and the hot tub is perfect for 2 people to unwind and spend quality time together. I can’t wait to come back. Just 20 minutes from Windermere so perfect for a lovely day out.

2nd time I have stayed here, it is absolutely breathtaking each time. It was a little challenging with the weather being so nice, the cabin does get quite hot. Could probably benefit from an AC unit or something to allow guests to be more comfortable, in hot temperatures. Otherwise it is absolutely stunning and the hosts cater for your every need

We loved our stay it was very quiet and peaceful, and very private which was ideal as we has baby with us so felt like we were able to enjoy our first family trip without disturbing the owners or other people on the farm. A lovely weekend away!

just got back from a one night stay in the Jolly cabin it was perfect, everything that you need is there the bbq was great so was the views and hot tub hosts was very responsive.

Beautiful home, very spacious and plenty of amenities. felt right at home! perfect for toddlers too. Ian was great, very helpful and easily contactable.

It was everything we had hoped for. Amazing views, I know everyone says that, but genuinely out of this world. The house is set out very well, Everything works as it should. Barry is very helpful. We had a great time, local suggestion would be the Shepherds rest pub for dinner at sunset,

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Farmhouse Lodge - everything we could have wanted was in the Lodge for us to use and Angela made everything very easy for us in terms of checking in and out. We would highly recommend and would love to stay again in the future.

Wow wow wow, what an amazing place to stay. Stunning house, stunning location. The attention to detail was fantastic, Philippa and Andrew were so approachable, friendly and helpful and they helped to make our stay comfortable. The house was spotless and full of everything we needed. Our children are already asking how soon we can come and visit again. The hot tub was ready for our arrival and the view were gorgeous, what a gem of a find. Very much looking forward to returning to Yoredale House, Thankyou for having us!

Large house in a quiet location , ideal for family gathering . Kitchen was well equipped which made catering easy . No camp cot or high chair but we bought our own . Thankyou

We had a lovely 4 night stay here. Very roomy place with lovely decor, comfy beds and lots of kitchen accessories. It was a very peaceful area but only a short drive to Scarborough, Robin Hoods Bay and Whitby. We also took our dog to Broxa forest which was a 5 min drive away. The hot tub was very relaxing after being out all day 😊 We would definitely stay here again.

The host has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. Great communication and a beautiful building in a country setting. Privacy respected, but easy to message host if you needed any information. Very good host.

We had such a fantastic stay at Silk Weavers. House is beautifully designed and well-equipped. The location is stunning - fantastic walks straight from the house and stunning views. The garden is well-fenced-in for the dog but with lots of space for him to roam. We went in lambing season and our toddler spent the whole time watching the lambs. It was truly idyllic.

I loved The Loft, it was just perfect. The house was beautifully decorated and had everything you could want or need, lots of lovely little touches made it really special. The view from the decking and the hot tub was spectacular and we spent many mornings and evenings just enjoying the peace and the surrounding views. I would definitely book again.

What a great place to stay! I booked Lynda and Fraser's place for a group celebration with friends and it was the perfect place. The kitchen has everything you need to cook for groups, so many plates, glasses and wine glasses. The dinning table is really big, and we used that a lot. There are three big comfy sofas, perfect for socialising and having a chill. The bedrooms were great, the bunk beds were comfy and again lots of space, with nice views from the windows. There is also a lovely large outdoor table to the side of the property, with a cover over it where we had breakfast. Communication prior to the stay was fantastic. Lynda and Fraser responded to all my questions really quickly and they kindly recommended some walks and pub lunches. The property is in the middle of nowhere, so it is a great place to get away from everything and just relax. The countryside is truly beautiful and great for walks. Would 100% recommend. We had a truly wonderful stay at Richard’s barn! The place is located in a beautiful area – perfect for sightseeing and long hikes in nature. The barn itself is cozy and very well equipped with everything you might need to relax and enjoy your time. The indoor fireplace adds a lovely atmosphere, and the hot tub is a fantastic bonus after a day of exploring. The location is ideal – peaceful and quiet, yet close to many great trails and local attractions. Richard is an absolutely lovely host – super friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help.
