You will find everything you need and more in this comfortable seaside retreat. Access to the beach is a short walk away. The house sits across the street from Clam Cove and is not directly on the beach. Beach access is private, quick and easy. There is also a large back yard to play or relax in.

Centrally located on the Blue Hill Peninsula near Deer Isle, the cabins offer access to outdoor activities, cultural events, restaurants & shops.

Solar lights, (we are off the grid) gravity fed kitchen water, gas-hot water outdoor shower, outhouse overlooking the forest. Hiking trails everywhere! Swimming across the road on Hobbs Pond. If you book in November, there is a possibility that if it gets cold, you will not have a hot outdoor shower and will use water from a 5 gallon ceramic container for drinking and cooking.

Brand new Cozy Cabin on a small 181 acre pond. Enjoy the cabin feel of knotty pine and a big country porch overlooking the water. Walk in access to the water or ice in the winter. Snow Sweet at The Appleton Retreat is very private, check out the Trail Map. This contemporary yurt faces the Field of Dreams and has a nice view of Appleton Ridge.
