Wonderful stay! Completely understandable as to why it's so popular! Very private and quiet location with beautiful walkable neighborhood. It was just far enough from downtown Charleston for some peace and seclusion, but also close enough to be downtown in just a 20 minute drive. Thank you so much for the delightful stay and we cannot wait for our next trip!

Laura was an amazing host. She was super friendly and kind we felt right at home staying with her. The backyard was beautiful and there was plenty of space for our toddler to run around and enjoy himself, and then she was kind enough to help us with some local recommendations and just overall one of the best experiences we have had with an Airbnb host ❤️

Loved the ambiance and quiet setting. While I was in town for a conference and my schedule only allowed me to sleep and go again, I wish I’d had the time to enjoy coffee in the backyard and explore the cute neighborhood more. The bed was really comfortable and loved having charging ports and a reading light so accessible. If I ever get an opportunity to return to the area, this would be my first choice to stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at this location and hope to be back soon. The location was PERFECT with barely a block walk to the beach. The fenced in yard was a kid's dream and made us feel secure with the kids playing outside. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a no frills spot to stay after a day at the beach!

We often visit family in the area. The space was cozy, offered all the essentials and a comfy bed! The location is set back from the road and is very quiet. That worked well to keep the pup calm while spending time on her own.

We enjoyed our stay at this house! The hosts provided detailed instructions, the space was clean and well kept, and the large backyard was great for our dog. The WiFi connection was a little unpredictable, but otherwise our stay was easy and relaxing. We loved being so close to both downtown and Folly Beach - super convenient location.

Sarah was a great host! She was extremely responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. It was the perfect place for us to stay as we explored Charleston for the first time.

Very nice place. Cute studio like home. Very clean and private. The host was very nice and communicated in a timely manner. Even checked in with me as soon as I booked to make sure the place was clean and tidy before I checked in. The bed was so comfy. I wanted to extend my stay by it was booked and I see why. Will definitely return!!!

Had an absolutely awesome time there lots to do around the area. The room was very clean with a lot of amenities. Amber responded quickly and was helpful.

We loved our stay at the Shem Creek suite. The location was great, lots of options for restaurants within walking distance. Short trip by car into Charleston or Sullivan's Island. this was a nice, quiet neighborhood, which allowed us to have a nice relaxing weekend. We wuld definitely stay again!

Lauren’s place was one of the best places I’ve have stayed at when coming to charleston. It is super clean and very private and it is on a great location and Lauren was very helpful and very responsive. If you’re looking for a place to stay I would recommend Lauren’s place. I really liked it!

Very well located and clean place that is an easy walk to the historic downtown area. The drive to many of the other sights and restaurants we visited was easy as this place is very central and had a parking spot that easily fit our rental minivan. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom and kitchen worked well despite it being a very old (historic) home.

We had a great stay! The place was stocked with plenty of towels and blankets, which made it super comfortable. The location was ideal — just a short walk to the beach and close to stores, making everything really convenient. Would definitely stay here again!

Located halfway between Downtown Charleston and Folly Beach, this cozy place was just what we needed. With two spacious bedrooms and a spacious bathroom, as well as a living area and kitchenette, there was plenty of room to spread out. Their yard is lovely and our son enjoyed the tree swing. One morning we even saw an owl in their yard. They have a big, nice outdoor shower also that we didn’t get a chance to use. Be aware that every time you or the residents above you need hot water, the very loud hot water heater turns on. There is not a dishwasher nor a traditional stove (there is a large toaster oven and microwave available), but plenty of good restaurants around. Our first night, we were tired from a long drive and walked to The Harley (delicious restaurant; highly recommend!) and then walked to the Harris Teeter grocery store for breakfast fixings. It was a peaceful and safe neighborhood with lots of people out walking their dogs. We would definitely stay here again!

Jen was a very warm and welcoming host. Responses were quick if we had any questions or concerns (if any). At arrival the Airbnb was easy to locate, very clean and put together. My girlfriend and I were surprised with a gift of wine and cookies along with a lovely card for my girlfriend’s birthday. Altogether, it was a very relaxing, secluded, and peaceful oasis experience! Highly recommend staying here for your next trip!

Soeren's place was very charming, comfortable, and secluded. Lovely and clean. Comfortable bed. All the amenities I needed. A very short walk to Vicious Biscuit (best biscuit I've ever had) and other restaurants and shopping. It's a short Uber ride across the bridge from downtown Charleston. Soeren is very likeable, hospitable, and flexible. My fiancee and I had a fun chat with him. I would defnitely go back to his AirBnB. Thanks for a memorable stay, Soeren!

We were in town for a concert and the airbnb was located so close! Such a beautiful area and home. The hosts were friendly in answering any questions or concerns!
