Enjoy exploring, hiking, and canoeing; Cabin Comforts:propane fireplace, fridge/freezer, kitchenware, stove with oven, washroom with composting toilet and vanity with cold running water. Historic and comfy 1870 Chalet at Gerber's

The chalet is located at Gerber's Nursery outside the village of Golden Lake, and provides a cozy get away for a couple, small family or four friends travelling together. One bedroom has a Queen bed and the loft has a double, with a small sofa bed downstairs which sleeps one. We are 30 minutes from Renfrew, Pembroke and Barry's Bay. 1.5 hours west of Ottawa. In the other direction 1.5 hours to Algonquin Park. A great base to explore the Ottawa Valley.

Our clean and cozy cottage has a beautiful sun porch and comfortably sleeps four people. We are situated on a quiet lake with great swimming and fishing. A paddle boat is available for free. Just 1 1/2 hours outside of Ottawa. We are only 20 minutes away from the award winning Whitetail Golf Course. There are two kayaks available for rent for $35/day each.
