Our short stay at Fox Cottage was amazing. The property is beautiful, spotless and comfortable. The views are spectacular! Andrew was a great host, very responsive and helpful and we really appreciated the very kind welcome hamper! Loads to do and see and there were even toys for our young son to play with! We loved it so much we’ve booked for next year!

We had. Wonderful stay in the cabin and used the hot tub everyday . The cabin was perfect for the two of us and the view from the cabin was amazing. We visited Chatsworth , Bakewell and Matlock . Guests get 10% off if you visit the bear inn , food was lovely nice choices would recommend . It’s a 4 min drive from cabin or 25 min walk .

We have had the most amazing few days in the Damson pod. It was so clean, spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. The outdoor space is beautiful and the children loved playing freely in the sectioned off field. They loved saying hello to the alpacas every morning, and Sarah invited us to come and feed them too which my daughter was delighted about! Sarah made us feel really welcome, provided discounts for the local area and put a lovely little welcome pack with biscuits and drinks which was so nice! We had the best time and wish we could have stayed longer!

A beautiful cottage, with a charming layout, making the most of the fantastic views. We could have sat watching the views for hours and were only sorry we didn't have more time to enjoy the terrace! It was well appointed and felt very homely. We loved how convenient it was for walking into Matlock Bath (only 5 minutes) with its fish and chip shops, ice cream parlours, amusements and lovely riverside walk and 2 play parks. What a great location for us as a family and it was very handy to be able to leave the car at the house and walk to the cable cars for the Heights of Abraham. We appreciated the milk and tin of chocolate biscuits. One tip for anyone who visits is to park at the top of the house, and not take the car around to the front of the house to save having to reverse up the steep hill as the road at the bottom has now been cordoned off. Jake was great. This place was basically brand new. It was perfect for the bank holiday weekend if I ever find myself back in Nottingham will stay again.

What a lovely little cottage, very clean and tidy and well stocked with everything you need in a home away from home. Little touches like the forget me not box and honesty box with holiday essentials should you forget anything (which we did!) was welcomed. Check in and out couldn’t have been easier and the shortbread biacuits and bottle of fizz was a nice touch Beautiful walks literally on the doorstep and easy access to the Tissington trail make this cottage a great place to stay in the Peaks.

We have had such an amazing stay. The hut is just stunning, very clean and welcoming and the little added touches chocolates ,Prosecco, fresh milk in fridge just made all the difference so thank you. We have had such an amazing relaxing stay so peaceful and private. The hot tub was lovely. Local restaurant walking distance and service and food great. We will definitely be returning soon and have already recommended to friends. If you are after a nice relaxing break then this is it.

We absolutely loved it here, it was very peaceful and relaxing, the hot tub amazing and the host was reachable at all times. The welcome goodies were a lovely surprise. We will certainly be back.

Totally faultless. Everything you need and more. Every extra touch provided - including very generous welcome hamper and Easter tasteful decorations. Everything for a pet, or a picnic, staying in or going out. Modern technology including iMac, WiFi and sky. Nothing missing from the kitchen for any cook. Bedrooms and bathrooms (linen, towels, robes, toiletries) had the feel of a five star hotel. Charming hosts. I could go on. I had high expectations as is rated 10, but we were all astounded at how incredibly tasteful and well equipped it was, and to a high decorative standard. Thank you.
