This cottage is on a beautiful lot and is just steps from a 1900-acre all sports lake with kayaks, a canoe and also known for its great fishing of walleye, bass, and pike and nearby snowmobile trail system just minutes away. This Upper Peninsula oasis has everything you need for the ultimate escape with an open floor plan, fireplace, large loft for extra sleeping, large enclosed 3 season porch and a newly built outdoor deck.

Maple Leaf Cottage - a stay for all seasons

3 - 1/2 miles North of US-2 Perfectly nested in a beautiful country setting with pull in driveway with a large area for parking. Plenty of FREE firewood for the firepit for relaxing around a fire in the evening under the stars. Maple Leaf is centrally located 1 hour or less to U.P. attractions. South Manistique Lake which is 2 miles north of cottage. You can access the trails from the south of cottage 300 feet on a scenic trail in the woods about 2 miles turn left or right to find the trails.

“Das Waldhaus”

Tired of the rat race and looking for a place to relax and enjoy Michigan’s Upper Peninsula? Then come to our cabin “Das Waldhaus”. We are about 1/2 mile from Highway 2, 8 miles to Lake Michigan beaches, and within 1 hour to most Eastern U.P. attractions including Tahquamenon Falls, Lake Superior, Oswald’s Bear Ranch, Pictured Rocks, Big Springs ( Kitch-iti- Kipi) or the Mackinac Bridge and Mackinac Island. Owners live on the premises and will usually be in the area should problems arise.

Turtle River Cabin/Mikinak

The Turtle Cabin, located within Big Cedar Campground, offers a serene riverside experience with picturesque views, a picnic table, and a firepit. Inside, guests will find a comfortable queen-sized bed, a 55-inch Roku TV, Keurig coffee maker, apt. size fridge/freezer, table/chairs, microwave. This cabin provides an ideal setting for relaxation after a day of activities. While a private restroom is not available, a very clean bathhouse is conveniently located within a short walking distance.
