Welcome to Lakewood Lofts set on the shores of Lake Te Anau. You’ll enjoy the stunning lake and mountain view’s from our tastefully refurbished rooms. We are a short 5 minute stroll to the heart of the Te Anau village. After a big day in the elements, arrive back to a cosy private room relax and enjoy the beautiful lake vista. This listing is for a twin room at Chester St Backpackers, our small, homely hostel in the central city. The two beds in the room are made up and have electric blankets. We are are a long term stay hostel, set up for backpackers who are stopping in Christchurch for a while to work and save for their next stage of travel and students studying nearby. We are just down the road from Ara. You will be part of a shared house overseen by Pipi the cat.

Tailor Made Tekapo is set over 3 buildings on 3/4 acre of land in the middle of the Lake Tekapo Village. We have pet rabbits, guenia pigs, chickens and sheep around the gardens. There are also picnic tables, a hammock and tennis courts and rackets that are free to use.
