Big R's Retreat Secluded and located in Nature

Welcome to our home: where we have found peace and relaxation for over 20 years. A German native, Big R fell in love with the open land and rolling hills of Wisconsin, becoming a US citizen in the 80s. He met Curly, a Chicago city girl, who brought a little city to his country life. They enjoy raising buffalo and spending warmer days on their porch enjoying the fresh air and beautiful views (with no mosquitos!). Now they want to share their idyllic and peaceful home with you. Drive down a dead-end road and pull up to a rustic cabin filled with high-tech and cozy amenities. We have something for everyone with a gas fireplace, tv (complete with dish, Cinemax, HBO and a Bluetooth sound system), board games and a full kitchen. Take a drink outside to soak in the hot tub or sit around the campfire. When the day is done, you will fall asleep instantly on the memory foam bed, either in the loft or the bedroom, and wake up to a beautiful sunrise looking out over your little getaway.

Necedah is located between Castle Rock and Petenwell Lakes. We have trails, history, and recreation at your fingertips.

Our 9 acre property offers a beautiful trail that leads to gorgeous sunset views, through the forest. A true nature-lover's paradise!

Welcome to our home away from home! The house is located just minutes away from Castle Rock Lake and Buckhorn State Park. There are several outdoor activities including hiking, biking, swimming, fishing, boating, kayaking, and many more! There's also a small beach located inside the Buckhorn State Park. The house has lots of great amenities including a hot tub, internet, Roku TV, outdoor projector, a pool table, grill, fire pit, and many more! We hope you'll enjoy it as much as we do!

Back Roads Cabin Retreat

Enjoy a weekend off the grid in our rustic cabin on 30 acres of wooded serenity. Watch the sunset on the covered porch, or relax around a campfire. Feel free to explore the woods taking a hike on the network of trails. Nearby you can visit winery's, Wildcat Mountain State Park, the Kickapoo Valley Reserve and more. The driftless region is known for great fishing, scenic drives through the hills and biking. Contact us about additional camp sites on the property for larger groups.

Welcome to the Woodland Doe Lodge on beautiful Lee Lake. This lakeside natural log cabin is exactly what you need! With your private shoreline, the cabin feels very remote, yet is close to the interstate. ATV / snowmobile trails nearby - and access to tons of hiking and biking. Our cozy, cute cabin has two bedrooms. One with queen, the other with full. There is also a hide-a-bed in the great room. Relax in great room with a warm fire or the deck with a fire table. There is a gas grill on site as well as a full service kitchen. Bring your boat or water craft to use on Castle Rock Lake, 1/2 mile away OR enjoy a day at the many parks in the area.
