"Bird Song" private getaway, tucked away in nature

"Bird Song" is named after the host of bird calls that greet you each morning (and the night jars that you hear after dark). It is the perfect 'private bush camp' for a ‘family-of-4’ vacation or for a secluded ‘get-away-from-it-all retreat’ for couples. The architect designed timber structure is set on a slope with views through and over the fynbos and right at the edge of pristine Indigenous Forest. A wood fired fireplace ensures you are (relatively) warm in winter.

Set back 70m from the Keurbooms River lagoon, a five minute walk along the lagoon edge to the ocean/beach, famous for beautiful Pansy shells and the pristine Keurbooms River Sea Bird Reserve. Natures Valley offers the best of both worlds - peaceful and unspoilt and yet within a stones throw of the vibrant Garden route towns of Plettenberg Bay (30km) & Knysna (60km). The village itself comprises of just 300 houses, a shop and a restaurant. It is unique in that it is completely surrounded by the Tsitsikama National park. Aside from the stunning beach there is a large lagoon, which makes it ideal for all ages.
