The Calistoga Inn was built in 1887 as a European-style hotel for travelers to Calistoga. Owned by a mother and son duo since 1989, the Inn has undergone a renovation that has brought it into the modern era. Known as the handsomest house in town, this famous residence has been reimagined into a 9-room luxury boutique inn that captures a new balance of contemporary elegance with a stylish grandeur for the 21st century. The George is one of the most successfully executed examples of late nineteenth century residential architecture. It is part of the National Register of Historic Places and subsequent National Parks Service Evaluation.
