Named after our 5-pound Pomeranian, Rooster who lives upstairs, our property is pet friendly with plenty of space to walk and enjoy the outdoors. There’s a small creek which runs along the property. West Jefferson, Boone, Moravian Falls and many ski areas are within close proximity as well! Please come enjoy this oasis in the foothills.

North Wilkesboro Speedway is 15 minutes away and the destinations of Boone, West Jefferson, Elkin, Sparta, Stone Mountain and the Blue Ridge Parkway are within 30. We are 40 miles to Appalachian Ski Mtn. and 55 to Sugar and Beech Mountain.

Private, cozy and quiet cottage in the trees yet only about a mile from the heart of town. Stainless steel appliances and tv with streaming services Amazon and Netflix. Easy hop to Blue Ridge Parkway, hiking and biking, wineries, Boone. About a mile to downtown. Watch wildlife from the private rear deck or walk the 2.6 acres of grounds, part landscaped, part garden, and part natural. Adjacent to greenspace/parkland. Dogs allowed! (limit 2) Pet fee charged per stay.

Carolina Wine Cottage

We have lovingly restored this 1940s farmhouse in Elkin, located just minutes from some of North Carolinas best wineries! We have all the amenities to make you feel right at home. After a day of winery hopping, come back and enjoy some more wine and cheese in the beautiful, new spacious kitchen, or relax out back at the fire pit, taking in the expansive views! The quaint town of Elkin is located minutes away for dining and shopping, or go for a hike at Stone Mountain!

Moonshine Mini-Mansion. Enjoy the NC foothills!

Welcome to our Moonshine Mini-Mansion. The home is on 8 acres in the beautiful foothills of North Carolina and has just the right amount of every season. Only 30 miles to Boone and 6 miles to Faithfest and Merlefest! The entire home was refurbished with all new finishes, new paint, soft close cabinets, and new flooring in 2019. This is a cozy house, and it is on land aka 'in the sticks.' Due to it being out in the country, you may see a bug or two!

Fram’s Place

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. This home is a relatively new build in a completely private location. Spend the afternoon rocking on the porch (you might be joined by the resident kitty cats!) and the evening roasting marshmallows at the fire pit for s’mores! You're only 25 miles from Boone and the High Country and just moments from local shopping, attractions, and restaurants at this residence! There are also two TVs for your enjoyment.

Log Cabin/Wine Country/Hot Tub/Fire Pit

Make some memories at this rustic, hand built log cabin. This cabin was built using reclaimed pine logs from local tobacco barns. Both bedrooms are located in an OPEN LOFT upstairs. Privacy curtains are installed but do not block out noise The cabin is full of amenities including washer/dryer, hot tub, antique clawfoot tub with shower, full kitchen, jacuzzi tub, large back deck, game area with foosball table, and beautiful views of the little Brushy’s.

This memorable place is anything but ordinary. It's nestled on a 12 acre lot yet centrally located. Minutes to Wilkesboro, Jefferson, and Boone. Whether you are in town for the historic Wilkes Motor Speedway, one of our music festivals, our awesome mountain biking trails, skiing in nearby Boone or Banner Elk, hiking the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway trails or just to enjoy nature and small town life you've found the perfect spot!
