Historic Owl Pine Cabin: creek+town+nature

On Strawberry Creek in Idyllwild's historic district, the Owl Pine Guest Cabin was built in 1922. It's the best of both worlds w/ plenty of nature (burbling creek, rock paths, trees, birds, mountain air, stars) + close to civilization (the property is near restaurants/shops). Native rock fireplace, hot tub, eclectic art, record collection/player, games, books, TV, Wifi, BBQ, fire pit hang deck. We have a chicken coop, happy to leave eggs at the cabin upon request. Welcome to this unique combination of an Idyllwild woodsy cabin and your own private Hawaiian tropical tiki treehouse! The Cozy Lodge & Tiki Treehouse sits down off a private, quiet, unpaved dirt road. The lodge is a 250sq ft cozy studio-guest cabin decorated with Idyllwild vintage decor and is backed up onto a secluded forest corridor with the tiki bar just a few steps away (think Pirates of the Caribbean meets Swiss Family Robinson). 5 min drive into the heart of Idy. Pet friendly/no pet fees.

Welcome to DTWild. Your much needed mountain escape. Our newly renovated, retro fabulous, mcm cabin rests on a magnificent property w/ a flowing creek in your backyard. Say what? Yup. A creek. Like with water. And rocks. And fishies. At DTWild you can soak in the hot tub, rekindle by the fire, bbq, ping pong under the pines, nap in the hammock, stargaze, explore, watch movies, work if you must, play games, namaste it up, dance it off, play in the snow, howl at the moon, and yes we have Wifi.

Treetop Hideout is a classic alpine chalet perched high on the ridge overlooking Idyllwild village, surrounded by panoramic views of the San Jacinto mountains. This secluded, quiet little cabin is for all forest lovers, but would be most enjoyed by folks with an adventurous spirit (see Winter Access). You will be greeted with the stillness of the woods, sunrise + sunset views from two cantilevered balconies, all while wrapped in a cozy, luxurious interior.
