Hello! Our home is an 1890 Victorian mansion that I purchased and lovingly renovated with a small team of local craftspeople. This space is a 1 bed, 1 bath with much of its original character preserved! Located in the heart of bustling Midtown just one block from 20+ bars and restaurants, DMC, Shinola and way more! The space is designed with leisure stays in mind but also capable of accommodating business travelers comfortably. Just opened in 2023, Coffee + Cocktails downstairs! Open: 8AM-11PM!

You're steps away from acclaimed restaurants, shops, cafes, speakeasies, breweries & distilleries & 1/2 mile to downtown. Exposed walls & ceiling beams, Moroccan rugs, 1970s weavings and mid century furniture make it a chic oasis in a bustling city.

Whether you’re here to kayak, cast a line, or just kick back with a book and a breeze, you’ll find plenty to love. Located in one of Detroit’s most unique—and real—neighborhoods. This is a revitalization zone with character: some blight, sure, but also a strong sense of community, and a refreshingly diverse, welcoming vibe.

Enjoy staying in a diverse neighborhood, where the textures of art, music, industry, foodie culture, and history all converge. The former attic of this historic home has been transformed into an apartment with a mid-century modern vibe and Detroit soul music memorabilia. The building is one block from the Q-Line (light rail) and two blocks from many great restaurants. Secure parking in the gated lot. Contactless self-check-in (no keys). We are available via phone should you need anything.

Historic carriage house with gated parking & patio

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. You'll have a private space in a detached historic carriage house, sharing a yard with the host. We have a large yard with a patio near the carriage house, covered porch, grill, bbq pit, bocce court, and outdoor living room (summer). We have a dog that has yard access. Private, secured parking is available for 1 car. Families are welcome, as are pets. We recommend families 3+ contact us before booking to ensure the space will work for you.

Sky Carriage House: Light, Bright, Corktown Escape

You'll be staying in our newly constructed carriage house at the back of our property in the heart of Corktown - Detroit's oldest historic neighborhood. This private dwelling is accessed from the back alley entrance and offers high ceilings and a panoramic view of downtown and the surrounding neighborhood. The unit features 1 bedroom/1 bath, living, dining, laundry and a full kitchen. In warmer months a small cafe seating area is situated on the spanish rock drive along the green alley.

This wonderful 1 bedroom unit is located just minutes from Wayne State University and all the amazing events, activities, restaurants and bars that the City of Detroit has to offer! You will be within about 2 miles from the best that Detroit has to offer. We can accommodate up to 2 guests comfortably, making it the perfect rental for a quick getaway to the city! There is direct access to the back deck and fire pit in the (shared) fenced back yard for enjoying a relaxing evening.
