Du må gå opp en betongtrapp på utsiden av huset for å komme inn i 2. etasje. Feriehuset mitt ligger i et av Lofotens best bevarte fiskevær Nusfjord. Ønsker du å prøve lykken i den fiskerike Vestfjorden, er leie av båt mulig. I månedene jan-april pågår det kjente Lofotfisket, og du kan oppleve dette fisket på Ballstad, som er et av Lofotens største og livskraftige fiskevær.
