The "Magnolia House" is a 1 bed small cottage in the quaint town of Mt Gilead in the Uwharrie Natl Forest region. While not waterfront, the property is centric to so much fun! Use as a base camp to boating, fishing, hiking/jeep/mountain bike trails & more! Perfect for a couple or small family, its small footprint is efficient w/a Queen bed, a full sleep sofa in the LR, and a toddler cot available. Pet (max 2) & trailer friendly circular drive. Optional dock available offsite. See below.

Welcome! Relax and unwind at our lakefront getaway. Bring your boat, jet skis, fishing poles, and golf clubs—there’s fun for everyone here! Start your mornings with a cup of coffee on the dock as you gaze across the lake toward the peaceful Goat Island. Watch fish jump and enjoy the sights and sounds of local wildlife all around you. Spend the day swimming or cruising the lake, then cast a line off the dock under the stars. After a full day of adventure, you’ll drift off easily in our cozy beds.

Welcome to The Tacklebox. This cabin has all you need for a perfect getaway on a relaxed working farm. Perfect for a party of three or a nice romantic stay. The cabin is rustic with all the amenities you’ll need! The farm is a 125 acres with 3 stocked ponds. Bring a fishing rod and try your luck at catch and release fishing. You will have the opportunity to see many animals on the farm including dogs. Your dogs are welcome too for an additional fee. We also have horseback riding for a fee.

The lakeside cottage welcomes you to fishing and swimming its spring-fed 9-acre, very clear waters. Enjoy relaxing between activities with easy access wi-fi or tv.
