I live nearby but had friends visiting from Germany and wanted them to have the "camp" experience. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. My friends loved it as well as being right on the lake. The place was exactly as described and we felt right at home. I'm hoping this place is available whenever we have friends visit because I would definitely book it again.

The house was clean and comfortable, and our hosts were incredibly gracious and accommodating. We booked at the last minute, and we felt warmly welcomed. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return. Thanks to our hosts for sharing their home with us.

Spacious and bright home Very fancy yummy coffee maker. The weather was very rainy but the fire pit looked like it would have been a wonderful space for star viewing in clear conditions. Everything we needed was handy.

Our party of 8 had an amazing time! The lake is beautiful. The house is walking distance to town. I would definitely rent again if our travels bring us back to that part of the country.

We had a lovely time at Ellen‘s home with four adults and two kids enjoying a last few days of summer vacation. Our family enjoyed using the paddleboard and canoes to spend time on the water. The beach was perfect for swimming too. We also loved the walking paths along the pond and all of the benches and picnic spots. Having all of the games and roomy indoor space was very helpful on a rainy morning. Ellen left many helpful instructions. Thank you and we hope to return again!

Second time at Michael's place in Rockwood. Fantastic setting and the home was perfect! We will be back again soon!

Clean, Comfortable and a great view of the lake!

Needed a weekend to recharge and this was the place to do it! Already love the moosehead area but to find places like this makes it top notch!

This is a great spot, convenient to lots of outdoor activities in the area. The studio has super comfortable beds, a very well equipped kitchen, and even some nice touches like throw blankets, books, and games for days you want to stay in and get cozy.

Beautiful, secluded spot right on 1st Roach Pond. Easy, clear access. Place was comfortable and clean and offered many play toys for the water (kayak, canoe, paddle boat, paddle board) and a very nice dock. Great access to other trails and Lily Bay State Park. We were visited by a loon and wild turkey, as well as many neighboring ducks. Lovely and peaceful getaway.

Out of the way, peaceful and stocked with pretty much anything you could need in case you forget something. Clean and comfortable and the host is friendly and makes sure you know everything you need to about the cottage and the area around it.

Railway camp was a great winter getaway! Great, responsive host, clean, right in the lake, in a perfect location! Everything was as described and hope to stay here again. I am glad they share this camp.

My family of three had a great time at this camp. It’s a lovely remote getaway and nice spot for swimming, BBQing, camp fires and has a beautiful view of Borestone Mountain.

This home away from was absolutely everything we wanted. We went up beginning of March, easy access to the lake. When you were inside the cabin the you could see the entire lake. It was awesome being able to see all of our ice traps from the inside. The morning sunrises were amazing! We will definitely be renting in the winter again.

Perfect location for snowmobiling out of Greenville

this place was a perfect getaway to do some ice fishing and cross country skiing, the weather was cold and windy, we were able to set some traps within sight of the cabin and were able to stay warm and cozy inside while fishing. very pretty sunsets and beautiful scenery. the cabin had everything we needed to heat up and cook a meal. highly recommend!

We loved our one week stay at the cabin! It was really wonderful living right at the lake, having breakfast outside, kayaking, going swimming almost every day and just enjoying the time doing nothing or reading. We also went hiking in the nearby State Park which was great. The cabin was very cozy and had everything we needed. Communication with Kim was really easy-going. We definitely recommend the cabin to anyone who wants to get away from everything for a while.

It was a cozy cottage on the lake. The house was beautiful, fully equipped and the scenery was spectacular. Everything you needed to relax and enjoy time with family; there were 3 of us. Outdoor grilling, fire pit to make smores at night, night-time star gazing, steps away to swim, kayak and watch and listen to the loons.
