Welcome to “Sea Bird” in Moss Landing, California. Halfway between the Monterey Peninsula and Santa Cruz, the Dunes Colony is a precious secret awaiting discovery by those lucky enough to experience raw, unfiltered beauty on the sandy shores surrounding Monterey Bay. “Sea Bird” is a newly renovated, single-level condominium where our guests can live luxuriously while listening as the Pacific Ocean sighs eternally just outside, its grandeur framed by wall-length windows in the main living area.

Wake up in the Beach, clean up in the Kelp, and enjoy dinner in the Deep. You will love the king size movable platform bed, the Hot Tub with an ocean view and the easy parking for several cars. Only a 10 minute drive to Cannery Row, and the Aquarium. Golfing, Diving, Fishing, Hiking are a just a few minutes away as well.

An oasis on a private retreat

A beautifully secluded area (40+ acres) surrounded by natural beauty with lovely views of Elkhorn Slough and the Pacific Ocean, away from the maddening crowd. Yet, accessible to Carmel / Pebble Beach / Santa Cruz. A variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, bicycling, kayaking, golfing and whale watching. A full breakfast is served daily. It should also be noted it is a gated property and the home is accessed through a dirt / gravel private country lane which is 0.75 mile from the gate.

AS OF JANUARY 1 2026 the PEBBLE BEACH COMPANY will greatly restrict SHORT TERM RENTALS. From what I understand we will be able to rent our guest house short term up to 3 times a year .
