Relax with the whole family at this peaceful country paradise! Enjoy all the seasons here with the main snowmobile/ATV trail right at the end of the driveway. Go for a hike, or horseback ride through the Brasher State Forest trails. Or maybe a fishing/hunting trip, as there are 30k acres of beautiful public land surrounding the river front property and a variety of fish in the river (musky,walleye,bass!) A quiet dead end road, that turns into a a trailway that can take you as far as Old Forge!

Riverside Cottage

Our fully equipped seasonal cottage is on the Salmon river 15 minutes north of Malone and close to the Canadian border. We can provide info on visiting Montreal as well as the Wilder Homestead, fishing and hiking trails. We have an appetizer or home made soup waiting for guests on their arrival. We have bees and are pleased to show how we are nurturing our hive. Our gardens are beautiful and guests are welcome on both properties. As Super Hosts we do our best to make your stay memorable🌻

There are over 4 miles of private trails for hiking along the river and in the woods. Kayaks & fishing poles provided. This cabin is tucked away at the edge of the woods for privacy and quiet time. The master bedroom downstairs has a double bed, and the upstairs loft has two twin beds. The kitchen has plenty of cupboard space and unique appliances. The laundry room has washer and dryer and plenty of storage space for your convenience. There is a back deck with great views and in the front of the cabin there is a firepit and 4 Adirondack chairs to help you relax and enjoy your evenings.
