The in-law unit is cozy, comfortable, and stylish. The garden is lovely! It's great for couples, mini-sized families, solo adventurers, and business travelers. This is a very walkable neighborhood. Northslope Studio in Bernal Heights with a Zen, Leafy Patio

Wake up to the soothing green view from this recently remodeled (mid-2023) studio nestled on a sleepy block in Bernal Heights. A peaceful backyard with a Buddha sculpture and a modernist inspired courtyard sit alongside the bedroom, kitchenette and bathroom. Free street parking (parallel) is available on my block and surrounding streets, not restricted, and typically easily available. Note that the in-law studio shares a common front door and foyer with the main house upstairs.

Charming Cottage near Dolores Park

Tugged away from the street the cottage (built in 1870) will welcome you with yasmin and lemons and roses. It is not your usual Victorian but has an open floor plan with windows on all sides. You step into a light living room with kitchen and dining area. Bedroom, study and bathroom are all on the same level. To get to the roof deck you walk up a few more steps to a loft area and from there step out to the deck with stunning views of the city.

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Take a bath and do a puzzle. Later, take a hike up Potrero hill to see the sunset and then walk 3 blocks to "lost resort" for a cocktail and a drink. Next walk to "Bissap-baobob" in the mission to see some local musicians or alamo draft house to grab a film. You can have quiet cosy day and see a concert on Mission St. in this accessible yet quiet spot.
